An Unforgettable Private Sailing Experience, Just for You. And remember, This is a private sailing adventure. We will customize the day of your dreams! There is no end to what you can see while sailing with Virgin Islands Day Sailing. Join us as we explore the most breathtaking locations around the Virgin Islands. Create timeless memories as you experience spectacular sailing destinations with those you love. Full day excursions depart from our slip in Sapphire Beach Marina, St. Thomas at 9:00 am. After a quick safety briefing, we cast the lines and head out.. Enjoy the sights and our open bar as we sail. Our destination will be the St. John National Park and the picturesque surrounding cays. You will have the chance to discover why many say that St John offers some of the best snorkeling and swimming locations in the Virgin Islands. We usually try to hit two different locations with a fresh grilled lunch served between stops. . Full day excursion will return to the marina around 3:30 pm. For special occasions please reach out for custom options.

5.00My wife and I took a private sailing and snorkeling trip with Captain Kendall. The Captain is a very experienced and knowledgeable islander and took us to some spots on St Johns and Little St James that we had not visited previously. We are experienced snorkelers and the locations were somewhat remote and full of diverse sea life. We saw many large schools of colorful fish as well as rays, turtles, eagle rays and even a black tip reef shark! Kendall also made us a delicious lunch and served us excellent beverages. During the course of our trip, the Captain shared his deep and insightful knowledge of island geography and history. We definitely plan on booking another trip with Captain Kendall and Virgin Island Day Sailing!

5.00Excellent day on the boat with Kendall. We sailed (not motored) to two different snorkeling spots where we saw 6+ sea turtles and lots of other fish. Kendall made us a great lunch and drinks, told plenty of stories, and made the day very enjoyable for our family of four (ages 21-60).

5.00Amazing experience—highly recommend! Despite starting in rain, the day turned beautiful, and the sailing was fantastic. Kendall was a terrific captain and host, full of knowledge about the islands. It was just my husband and me in St. Thomas, and we met four wonderful people on board.

5.00What a great day!! Tommy the captain and Kayla, his first mate, were delightful and so easy to plan our day trip with. They picked us up in the 40’ Beneteau promptly at 9 am. The boat was clean and well maintained. Tommy is knowledgeable and confident at the helm and made even the first time sailor feel right at home! We sailed to 3 blissful coves, Lovongo, Scott and Christmas where anchor was dropped and off we went snorkeling. All equipment was supplied. The locations were picture perfect and empty (due to being off season!) A lunch of grilled chicken, pasta salad and watermelon was provided and plenty of rum punch, painkillers and tequila. Tommy is a wealth of knowledge about the islands, their history, and fun facts. The 6 hr day flew by and we’d definitely book with Tommy and Virgin Island Day Sailing again!!

5.00Captain Tommy and Kayla did an amazing job of planning our adventure. We had three snorkeling stops intermixed with sailing and and a fantastic lunch of grilled chicken, veggie pasta, and watermelon. We were treated to rays and turtles during our snorkeling. The winds were perfect for sailing. It was a totally amazing adventure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

5.00Captain Kendall made the experience AWESOME! He was captain,tour guide,chef,waiter and bartender! We were able to visit 2 spots to snorkel and saw turtles , stingrays, and lots of different fish! Pasta salad and chicken for lunch- yummy This sailing was the highlight of our trip to St Thomas! It was a private tour for just the 6 of us.

5.00We are a family of six that had a great time sailing and snorkeling with Captain Sam and Gabby. This was a day we will remember for a long time. The sailing and snorkeling were awesome. The boat was clean with plenty of space. The beaches were amazing. Snorkeling was fun and we saw turtles, stingrays, nurse sharks and different types of fish. Sam and Gabby were attentive, helpful and gave us information about the islands. Gabby gave us many tips regarding shopping and places to see on St. Johns. They truly were wonderful. The location of the boat was easy to find and communication was clear. Thank you Sam and Gabby. We would strongly recommend this tour.
