What To Expect

Tiananmen Square

Tiananmen Square, the largest public square of this kind in the world. The visit here allows you to have a glimpse at the outside of Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao, the Monument to the People's Heroes, the magnificent Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China, the ancient Zhengyang Gate and Arrow Tower as well as the Tiananmen Tower which leads to the well-known Forbidden City.

The Palace Museum

The Forbidden City, located in the heart of Beijing, is the largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex in the world. Built in the early 15th century during the Ming Dynasty, it served as the home of 24 emperors for nearly 500 years. With over 9,000 rooms, golden roofs, and majestic halls, it showcases traditional Chinese architecture and imperial culture. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of China’s most visited landmarks.

We had a fantastic day exploring Beijing! Our guide Mary was excellent—very knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories that really brought the history to life.We visited the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and the Lama Temple, covering so much in just one day.

We had a fantastic day! Maria was an outstanding guide and even managed to get us into Tian’anmen Square with hardly any waiting. She also helped us reserve a table at a local restaurant to enjoy authentic Peking Duck. Highly recommend!

A great one-day tour covering many highlights, with enough time at each stop. Mary, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared interesting stories about Chinese history. The tour felt relaxed and enjoyable, like exploring with a friend. Highly recommended—do ask for Mary if you can!

We had such a good day in Beijing! Mary was super friendly and explained everything clearly. We visited Tiananmen, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and Yonghe Temple — all very smooth and well-planned. Perfect for our family of three!

It was amazing visiting the most important Beijing highlights with Mary. My parents and I had a great time discovering the unbelievable Chinese heritage from the Forbidden city to the Lama temple and Temple of heaven and not to mention Tiananmen Square. Mary provided us with details on the history and evolution of the Chinese civilisation which is so impressive. She was great at answering all our questions and provided a wealth of details. Additionally many thanks to our driver how helped us so much and ensured we managed to visit all places. I truly recommend Mary she is an amazing guide and also photographer who helped us take amazing pictures through the day. Many thanks for making our day!

Lucy was fantastic! taking great care of us the whole time. she picked us up at our Hotel at 6AM so when we arrived we had the great wall for ourselves, an unique and breathtaking experience!
