What To Expect
Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan)
pick up u from Guilin any hotel at 9:30 am, first destination is Reed flute cave, it will take 30 minutes to drive and reach this cave, there are 240 metres deep in this cave, it's a “U" shape, we have to walk around 500 metres inside, it will take around 1 hour ti visit it, with its location 7 kilometers northwest of the downtown of Guilin, the Reed Flute Cave is a brilliant cave marked on almost all travel itineraries. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition. Illuminated by colored lighting, it was reputed a natrual art palace. purchase tickets on-site with your passport for CNY90 each person.
Daxu Ancient Town
second destination is Daxu ancient town, from Reed flute cave to this ancient town, it will take 1 hour to drive and reach Daxu Ancient Town which is situated at the east bank of the Li River, 23 km (14.3 miles) southeast of Guilin City. Having a history of more than 1000 years, the town originally formed in the early Northern Song Dynasty and was the leader of four renowned ancient towns in Guangxi Province as early as 600 years ago. Fine examples of the town's long history include: the Gaozu Temple, the Hanhuang Temple built in the Qing Dynasty the assembly halls, and the two-kilometer long bluestone street lined with many well maintained buildings. While visiting the town, the Longevity Bridge cannot be missed. Built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it is a stone arch both natural and simplistic in its beauty. With the Li River at its west side, it is an excellent place to appreciate the charming scenery of the river. it will take one hour to visit it.

5.00We hired Jerry for this day trip and wanted to customize it to suit our specific wishes. Not only was Jerry super easy to communicate with from the get go, he provided exactly what we asked for! We had an informative tour of Daxu Historic town (he knows the area very well) we then moved on to our Li River cruise, which we upgraded to the 4 hour VIP cruise. He promptly met us when our boat trip ended and from there we climbed Xianggong hill, went on a super fun and safe bike/scooter ride(our favorite), spontaneously went for street food and ended at the night show. Jerry drives a clean comfortable vehicle, he goes far out of his way to make sure his guests are very well cared for, he took photos as we progressed through our day and sent them to us....I really cannot recommend him more highly! Hire Jerry for a fabulous custom day if you visit Guillin/Yangshuo.

5.00Jeff is a very knowledgeable tourguide. He is local and taught us all about the culture of the area. He was very kind and accomodating while also being on time. He has a very good singing voice as well which he shared with us on the trip. We highly recommend jeff as his english was very good.

5.00It is very worth visiting the Li River area and seeing the mountains. Without this tour we wouldn’t have been able to do it all so quickly because you need a car and Jerry makes it all easier. It's an evening show, it's also amazing. Highly recommended.

5.00We had a good time exploring Guilin and Yangshuo with Jerry as our tour guide and driver. He was friendly, easy to talk to, flexible and made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. Jerry knows the area well and helped us plan our days efficiently. He even managed to get us discounted tickets for some attractions and gave us honest suggestions on what’s worth visiting (and what we could skip). He was always on time, and it was nice to start each day with a smile. He also adjusted to our pace and preferences, which made the trip very smooth and relaxed. 5.00My daughter and I loved our day with Jerry. He had to improvise because the day before there was a heavy rainstorm. We took the cruise instead of the bamboo raft and the show was canceled. Jerry proposed alternatives. We had an one hour Tai Chi lesson and visited a scenic spot for sunset on our way back to Guilin. Cycling was the highpoint of the day. Next to Jerry's personal information. Jerry is very flexible and very communicative. We did appreciate all the efforts he made to make our day memorable. We also felt very safe in his car. He is a save driver. We do recommend him.
