We will walk through financial street, most busy pedestrian street, “PASEO AHUMADA”, the presidential palace, Plaza de Armas, Cathedral, Ex National Congress, Central Market, museums like Pablo Neruda, Precolombian, barrio Bellavista, etc
We will stroll at any nice Hand Craft Market, café shop, mail office, restaurants, and at any spot according with your NEEDS only.
Those whose who wanted to get lunch, we will stop in any restaurant according what you like.

From your Hotel we will head directly to Santa Lucia Hill to explain you how Santiago city was founded over 400 years ago by the Spaniors and of course the history about.
Plaza de Armas
Then we will walk and see the famous Plaza de Armas where everything is going on... and we ll talk about the life of Santiago. Then We will see and talk about different building around such as City Hall, Historic & Natural Museum, Post Office, and Santiago Cathedral.

5.00Four of us spent a lovely day with HecTours. We were picked up at our hotel and visited several places outdoors before it became too warm. The thoughtfully curated tour provided a rich introduction to Santiago’s history, culture, and contemporary life. Each stop felt purposeful and well-paced, from the historical grounding at Cerro Santa Lucía and Plaza de Armas to the vibrant energy of La Vega Central and the panoramic views from Cerro San Cristóbal. The contrast between historic neighborhoods and modern areas like Sanhattan and Vitacura offered a clear and engaging sense of how the city has evolved. A particular highlight was the lunch stop Galeón, which exceeded expectations. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared—and the service was warm, attentive, and efficient without ever feeling rushed. Hector was a wealth of knowledge and gave us great insight into the history of Chile & his own personal experiences including of earthquakes/safety issues. He drove very safely and was very flexible as to what we did and where we went. he was very knowledgeable about the history of Santiago and all of the major sights. We had a great day seeing Santa Lucia Hill and Lastarria, downtown, San Cristobal and many more places. La Chascona was one of our favorites.
