Amazing private boat day of Capri and Amalfi Coast with Captain Antonio

5.00Our boat day with Captain Antonio was fantastic. Antonio provided clear directions of where to meet in Capri, arrived early, and helped us come up with a great plan for the day! We saw some beautiful grottos around Capri, got amazing photos at the Faraglioni, zipped over to Positano, and had time to get lunch in Nerano and swim! Antonio provided great recommendations, had a lot of knowledge of the area, and really helped make our day special. As an additional bonus, he had homemade limoncello on board, and it was the best limoncello we have ever had!! Thank you for an awesome day!!

5.00We met our boat captain (Antonio) at the dock in Sorrento and spent the day touring the Amalfi coastline. He was WONDERFUL. He had recommendations on where to visit, where to swim, where to dock/eat for lunch, and he was so kind! We were able to connect to the boat Bluetooth speakers and he also had drinks/snacks on board. He truly made our experience unforgettable and we are so grateful! Grazia Antonio!

5.00Antonio made our full-day Amalfi Coast tour an absolute highlight of our trip. He arrived early for pickup, was incredibly friendly, and was a joy to spend the day with. We visited Ravello and Positano, and his local knowledge made the experience even better. He arranged our lunch reservations, recommended excellent shops to visit, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. We truly enjoyed getting to know him and would gladly spend another day touring with him on a future visit.

5.00Our Amalfi Coast day trip booked through Viator was absolutely unforgettable! Our driver, Antonio Iaccarino, was beyond amazing. He showed my husband and me the true Italian lifestyle — not just the typical tourist spots, but beautiful hidden gems where hardly any tourists were. Every stop felt authentic, peaceful, and breathtaking. Antonio made the entire day feel personal, relaxed, and so special. It honestly turned out to be one of the most perfect days my husband and I have ever had together. We will absolutely use this company again in the future. 5.00Perfect day with Antonio on the Almafi Coast. We made stops in Almafi, Tramonte and Ravello. We spent 8 hours overall with Antonio driving up and down the coast to/from our hotel in Sorrento. Antonio recommended stops to shop at and dine that were spot on. He booked us an amazing wine and food tasting lunch at a farm to table family run restaurant in Tramonte that had the best price point I have ever encountered for this unique one of a kind experience that it truly was. We also made a stop at a linen shop where all clothing is made there by the shop keeper who was a lovely and talented seamstress. I could have spent hours in her store trying on everything. Antonio kept us entertained and was a helpful guide who knew so much about the history of Sorrento and the coastal towns as a local himself. Highly recommend Gianluca’s Private Day Tours company for their knowledge, customer service, promptness, and concerns for our safety and making sure we got everything out of our tour that we wanted.

5.00In short, our experience with Private Day Tours was simply outstanding. We did two tours and a transfer, all of which couldn’t have gone better. The tours, led by our driver Gioacchino were fantastic. Gio was extremely personable, fun, and more than knowledgeable of the area. And flexible. We stopped several times to take simply beautiful pictures at places selected by Gio. Our day on the Coast could not have been better. We also toured Pompeii, with another knowledgeable, fun and personable guide provided by Private Day Tours. We would unequivocally recommend Gianluca and company at Private Day Tours to anyone looking for tours in the Amalfi region, and don’t forget to request Gio Russo!

5.00We really enjoyed our day. Our driver/guide was very professional and knowledgeable about the area. He was also very friendly and fun. He took us to a beautiful restaurant for lunch overlooking the sea. The food there was spectacular. Overall it was a really great day that was very fulfilling!

5.00We took this full day cruise from Positano to Capri to relax and have fun after two weeks touring Italy. I have to say that Simone was amazing. Very professional and personable. We truly enjoyed our time on his 35 ft (?) boat and hanging out with him. He is masterful at what he does and a very pleasant young man. We decided to keep our island hiking to a minimum and stay with the boat with the exception of an amazing lunch and beach time in Capri. Simone was very agreeable in personalizing the trip for us and keeping it chill and fun. I wish we could have taken him with us after the cruise was done. The day was all ours, but he seemed to be having a good time too. Loved that! I Highly recommend this tour and this captain!

5.00Our driver Gioacchino (Joe) was outstanding. Most importantly, he safely drove us along the many twists and turns of the Amalfi Coast Highway. In addition to being an outstanding and safe driver, Joe was professional, informative, pleasant, and at times became our guide and photographer. In addition to driving us to and through a number of Amalfi Coast Towns , Joe also took us to some areas that are not on the “usual tour“ like a private vineyard, which was very memorable for the tour of the farm/ vineyard, as well as , for the lunch (all of the food that was served and eaten for lunch was grown on the farm.) We have an opportunity to travel to many places and use many private drivers and we would rank Joe as number one and highly recommend him for anyone who needs a private tour driver in and around Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.

5.00Gracious and competent drivers who offered valuable insights on the area. Rosario offered history while we traveled to our destination. On our transfer to Naples Giò gave us some recommendations that we most certainly will use for our next visit. We were grateful for his assistance when we arrived at the port on a very rainy morning. He escorted us to the terminal to insure that we stayed dry. Most appreciated. We will definitely call Private Day Tours on our next visit!
