Located in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, Petrohué River delights with its rapids. After a violent eruption of the Osorno Volcano, basaltic material gave rise to this attraction that runs through the evergreen forest.
The Osorno Volcano is part of National Park and its height is 2650 meters. A complete panoramic view of Lake Llanquihue Lake and part of the Andes is possible in a sunny day. The vehicle reaches an altitude of 1,200 meters on asphalted road where there is a cafeteria and ski center. In addition, it is possible to reach 1400 meters by liftchairs.
Puerto Varas is considered the tourist capital of southern Chile. The peaceful life of streets, visitors and locals enjoy the beautiful view and its surroundings. Influenced by the German colonization and the perfect fusion with Spaniards and Chileans, they transform it into one of the most attractive cities of our region.

5.00We were 4 hours late due to cruise ship delay. Despite that, Joaquin got us to see all the things we hoped to see. He was very informative about the local history, culture and sights. Had a great time.

5.00Our excellent guide and driver took us first thing to the Osorno Volcano and Petrohue falls first before any of the busses came. We were able to enjoy it without many people there. Then we shopped in Puerto Varas and our guide bought us excellent ice cream. He seemed to know everyone in the city, it was great! He knew all the history of our tour and he and the driver were excellent. Highly recommend.

5.00Catalina was waiting for us at the port as instructed with our name clearly visible. She took us to meet our driver Marcelo & we all headed off to the waterfall first. Catalina has great knowledge and is so passionate about the area . This gave us the best experience. The waterfall is so beautiful, we had a lovely time walking around and getting fantastic pictures. The scenery is breathtaking. Next stop was the amazing volcano - again the scenery is amazing. We were lucky enough to hike up to the crater - wow !! Catalina provided us with interesting information along the way . We had a quick pit stop , then headed to Puerto Varas , a nice town - we wanted to try a local fruit beer , so we went to a local bar and shared a beer - it was lovely. Marcelo got us back to the ship in time - his driving was very good, and the van was so comfortable. This excursion was fantastic. The best tour guide and driver ensured that we had the best day .

5.00We were on a cruise with my husband and 2 friends. So glad we decided to go on this private tour! We were whisked away quickly from the port and went straight to the falls as the volcano was a bit cloudy. We beat the tour groups there and enjoyed some lovely walks in the area. Then, we went to the volcano and had enough time to hike up and down. It was absolutely breathtaking and our guide made perfect timing for perfect weather. Then, we went to a lovely restaurant where we enjoyed so much amazing food (including sopapillas and pebre) with chilean wine. Our tour guide was fantastic and conveyed so much about the culture and traditions in the region. We went back to our cruise ship very pleased with our choices. Would highly recommend!!

5.00Claudio was an awesome guide. We enjoyed our time at the volcano, Petrohue Falls and Puerto Varas. We enjoyed all the information he shared about the area and the time he gave us at each spot. We had lunch with him at one of his favorite local restaurants which was outstanding! We would recommend this tour highly.
