Holy Mass in the parish church of St. James in Medjugorje is, therefore, celebrated in many languages, including a daily Mass in English. Your arrival to Medjugorje will be right at that time, so plan to attend this special event.

5.00Ernest picked us up at the cruise ship terminal promptly at 9 am and we drove to Kirka Falls…learned about the extensive history of Croatia as Ernest is well read and revealed many fascinating facts….he also shared his experience as an olive farmer…. We had a great family style lunch at a local restaurant….then visited Trogir..again with an excellent review of the history. We have a group of life long couples and we travel together…everyone thought that this was the best tour we have had in our times traveling together. It also is a very good value for your money. Nives booked everything online with us several months before our tour…and it was seamless! Ask for Ernest….he is the best!

5.00The Portal company takes good care of their clients. From the first day when they pick us up in the airport, we had a brief introduction of Dubrovnik. Our trip to Mostar and Medjugorje was well managed by our tour guide Andrija. He even introduced us to Burek and the best roast lamb in Bosnia Herzegovina. Patiently guided us in Medjugorje and brought us to Split. He is an excellent driver and guide. At Mostar we were guided by Anna Maria whose knowledge about the place made Mostar an interesting place. Lastly our guide and driver was Mario, who guided us in Plitvice. His knowledge of the working of the National park even made us avoid the queue. It’s was a tiring place to visit with so many steps that we were able to do more than 15000 steps. He safely guide us along the way and patiently wait for us. After our tour of the park full of Waterfall and lakes, he safely brought us to Ljubljana. The coordinator of our trip was Nives. I think with her on the helm, our trip ran smoothly. Keep up the good work Portal , we will be recommending to our fellow travellers.

5.00We were travelling round Italy and Croatia on a ten night cruise. This day was one of our best - the boat picked us up from Split marina, minutes walk from the cruise ship. We were then returned in plenty of time right next to our ship. We had the best time - visiting islands, stopping for swims and visiting the most amazing restaurant for lunch.

Ernesto was very informative and made the day so much fun. The highlight was the park with lunch at a beautiful restaurant. I can’t recommend the day enough. Happy memories ☀️👍

5.00What a wonderful trip to Bosnia with Portal Private Tours. The weather was unusually hot, which made visiting Medjugorje very uncomfortable. Our guide, Ernest, was great. He ensured we knew how to contact him if needed when we arrived. Due to the heat, our day was cut short in Medjugorje. Ernest suggested a restaurant next to some waterfalls. We trusted his choice completely and were not disappointed. Thanks Ernest! Your humor and kindness will be remembered. We used Portal Private Tours for airport transfers as well and it went very smoothly. We did have another excursion booked for Mostar but due to the heat we cancelled prior to the 72 hours notice. There was no problem and the company had total understanding given the circumstances. Great company with fantastic staff. Thanks again.
