Start your early departure at 7am from your accommodation, 30 min to Cross the island by Roman causeway Admire the picturesque and historic landscapes of the island. then you continue towards the salt lake of Chabania for an hour's drive

From the moment I landed in Djerba, this tour exceeded all expectations. My flight was delayed by two hours, but the tour guide patiently waited at the airport, showing incredible professionalism and kindness. Even with the late start, I was still able to visit every site on the itinerary—a testament to the guide’s flexibility and the excellent driving that kept everything on track. Due to the delay, we opted for a driving lunch and limited shopping, which gave us more time to explore and truly take in the beauty and history of Salt Lake, Tataouine and the Berber villages. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a rich and memorable experience. I felt like I was traveling with someone who genuinely cared about making the day special. If you're planning a trip to Djerba and want a personalized, stress-free, and immersive adventure, I highly recommend this tour. It’s the perfect way to discover southern Tunisia—even if your plans don’t go perfectly!

I had a terrific time on this trip. The guide, Thar, and driver, Jabran(?), were both excellent. They arrived punctually and took me to all the places I wanted to see, stopping for the time I needed and with plenty of offers of stops en route if I wanted a toilet break. Thar spoke excellent English (as well as French, German and Arabic), so we had no problem communicating. Jabran was a safe and considerate driver. I usually don't care much for lunches on organised tours as you get taken to vast places where the food is mass-produced. It was the case here, but I actually enjoyed the couscous, and it was good that there was a vegetarian option. (I'd not even mentioned being vegetarian when I booked as I'm not interested in the food, so I appreciated the restaurant giving me a choice.)

Our guide Taher and driver Anis gave us a wonderful experience touring the stone desert, Tataouine, Berber village etc. The landscape is magnificent, and Taher was very informative and enthusiastic as he told us about it. The trip is long but there are a variety of stops for photos and toilet breaks along the way, as well as the main visits (all of which are excellent). And Anis was a safe and well-paced driver. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and came home with many images which will stay long in our memories of a day when we experienced many marvels.
