Nice excursion with friendly guides. They shared with us the history of Tunisia. The village star wars, Berber are really typical and to do! And we ate a very good couscous! The departure time could be staggered by a good hour (7am-3pm). To be precise, change must be provided for tips on visits (not indicated in the programme) Finally the visit to the spice market is very disappointing.

Very good organized. Tour as described. Nice Guide and Driver. Only Thing that could be better: in chenini there was an extra Guide who wanted Money. We would have liked to Know this before that he costs extra Money.

These must be the top attractions in southern Tunisia and this tour is an excellent and stress-free way to visit them. The booking process was very efficient with quick communication. Our guide and driver picked us up in a luxurious Toyota 4 x 4 bang on time and looked after us admirably. Unlike anything else I've seen, the two ksaads were absolutely A-list. I liked the way you could enter the chambers and climb up the steps if you dared. The structures would all be off-limits if they were in the UK. Chenini was similarly stunning and open all areas. Our wander was followed by a school dinners style lunch in a tourist cafe. We visited in late March which meant few other tourists were around but beware of Ramadan! Our guide Femi spoke good English and was a lovely, gentle chap but didn't do an awful lot of guiding. In fact, he addressed us for no more than 30 mins or so on the entire trip. In Chenini we were allocated a local guide whom we were obliged to tip which wasn't mentioned in the tour plan. Given the quality of the attractions and convenient means of reaching them the tour was worth £80 each but that was a high rate given how cheap everything is in Tunisia. By comparison we went on a six-hour tour of Djerba with a taxi driver and he charged us just £50 in total. One other thought: since this is a private tour you could request a later departure than the advertised time of 7am. We were back at 3.40pm.

It’s a lot of driving, but our energetic 4 year old hung in there! 🤣 the sites were so beautiful and amazing to see. Our guide and driver were so sweet and knowledgeable. They loved our kids! 🥰 We had some amazing conversations about the tour info and even life in general and left feeling like friends. The driver was safe and attentive, which hasn’t always been my experience with guided tours. The pictures show the white buildings of chenini, but unfortunately the local/on-site guide would not allow us to see these or even get close, saying they were closed to outsiders. I understand this, but feel that the tour description and photos might need to be changed. It’s definitely not the fault of our guides or maybe even the tour company, since our time in chenini was guided by someone local to that community. Overall, it was a core memory for our family and specifically our older boys, who are huge Star Wars fans.

Lots of cars. Chinini very disappointed, site very dirty and not maintained, guide who recites his lesson like a robot. Spice market is three tourist-catcher shops. Only the Star Wars site is good as well as the restaurant. Very nice yoyo guide. But frankly, it's expensive for what it is.

An unforgettable experience on this excursion, made even more exceptional thanks to Yo-yo and Ali. Their warm welcome and seriousness were remarkable. They took great care of us, offering us VIP-worthy service throughout the day.

Great excursion with Femi our guide and Rida our driver. The places visited were magnificent despite the rainy morning weather, special mention in Chenini a village with incredible thousand-year-old cave houses. Femi our state certified guide was exceptional in his knowledge and knowledge which he shared with great enthusiasm. Moreover the comfort of the 4x4 was very appreciable! I highly recommend this excursion if you are in Djerba for a few days. Julia, Claude and Jocelyne (France)

The guide has a very good cultural level, he was born in Tataouine and knew how to share his story. Good quality vehicle and driver. Beautiful landscapes

We asked for a 9am start as my husband is diabetic, but did not realise this would mean that we would not get to see Ksar Ouled Soltane. Our tour of Tataouine was enhanced as this was the home town of our guide, Hami. Missing out on the Ksar Ouled Soltane was very disappointing as this was for me to be highlight of the trip and this was not explained, had it been we would have asked to skip the Berber village. Unfortunately there is a certain steep rough track up to the mosque of Chenini which my husband struggled with so although the itinerary says suitable for most travellers it is not suitable for the elderly (he is nearly 70) or the infirm. So after the 500m climb up the access road there was no chance for us to explore the village itself as he was struggling to walk by then despite multiple stops. Lunch was ok, but a choice would have been nice. It was then on to Ksar Hadada which was interesting but does not have the impact of Ouled Soltane. We were back at the hotel by 4pm. Not a bad day out, in all and the guide was very pleasant, he did not speak much during the long journey spent a lot of time on his phone. Importantly the accessibility rating for the Berber village needs updating, as the rough track is steep, uneven and unstable in places- plus an explanation that a later start meant missing a big part of the tour would have given us the choice of another tour or different route. Whether it was because it was Ramadan I don't know, but we were not provided with water in the car and although the vehicle was comfortable there was no air conditioning- the only ventilation was by opening the windows! I have said I would not recommend to a friend as the driving was very fast and the tour incomplete.
