What To Expect
Chaussee Romaine Djerba
Start your early departure at 7am from your accommodation, 30 min to Cross the island by Roman causeway Admire the picturesque and historic landscapes of the island. then you continue towards the salt lake of Chabania for an hour's drive
Along the way, you will pass through olive fields offering picturesque views. A 30-minute photo break is planned at the Sebkhet el Melah salt lake, a magnificent place with changing colors that offers unique landscapes. Capture the unique beauty of this salty expanse. then you continue towards tataouine to arrive in around 1 hour

5.00Lassaad, our guide of the day, allowed us to learn more about Tunisian culture through this beautiful excursion. He speaks, always answering our questions very clearly. He speaks French very well. He is very attentive and very friendly. Our driver was Ridha, no complaints, a good driver, discreet.

5.00Day of discovery Berbers and nomads in 4/4. Great Salt Lake then Tataouine Chenini cave village and finally ksar of Hanana where one of the scenes of Stars Wars was shot. Tourist certainly but it does not lack charms. Beautiful landscapes. The locals are nice friendly.

5.00A great and enriching day for me and my parents to explore the area around Tataouine. As we went in early December there were no crowds and it felt much more personal. We only passed one tour bus, but otherwise it felt like we were the only ones visiting these sights and villages. Fehmi was a great and informative tour guide, and Hafed was a great driver getting us from place and place comfortably, allowing us to stop out in the desert and mesas to get pictures of the extraordinary (almost alien) landscape! I would certainly recommend this tour who have interest in seeing Tataouine and the areas around it as a history and culture fan or a Star Wars fan!

The guide was knowledgeable and shared his knowledge on the different sites, while bringing his own touch to the explanations. Overall, an experience that met our expectations.

5.00Yoser and Hisham were outstanding. They picked me up on time, were extremely friendly and attentive, went out of their way to ensure I had an unforgettable experience. Stopping for right out of the oven local bread, to taking me to places that clearly only locals go to (I got to see a sunset in Djerba - it was an unforgettable experience ). I strongly encourage anyone who wants to do this tour to do it with them. I have only positive things to say about them. They finished the tour, and took extremely good care of me ensuring I could get to the airport later. All in all, 5 stars from me.
