Your journey begins with a SUV comfortable drive from Muscat towards the stunning Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most famous desert oases. The drive takes around two hours, offering beautiful views of rugged mountains, scattered villages, and the peaceful Omani countryside. To ensure a relaxed and enjoyable trip, we will make a short tea break along the way. Here, guests can stretch their legs, use the restroom facilities, enjoy a refreshing cup of tea, and take a moment to rest before continuing the journey. After the break, we continue deeper into the Sharqiyah region until we reach Wadi Bani Khalid, where crystal-clear pools, palm-filled valleys, and stunning landscapes await you.

Wadi Bani Khalid

After a scenic 2-hour drive from Muscat, we arrive at the parking area of Wadi Bani Khalid. From here, enjoy a short and easy hike through the beautiful valley until you reach the stunning natural pools. Take your time to swim in the clean, turquoise, fresh water, surrounded by dramatic mountain rock formations. After your refreshing swim, relax and enjoy a tasty open-air lunch right beside the water, the perfect spot to unwind in nature. After lunch, we get ready for the next part of the adventure as we head toward the desert.

Next, we continue our journey towards the desert, stopping at a traditional Bedouin house, where you’ll get a glimpse into the authentic nomadic lifestyle and experience their warm hospitality. Here, guests can also ride camels, buy traditional souvenirs, and enjoy beautiful Bedouin henna designs before heading deeper into the sands towards our desert camp.

The last stop of the day is our desert camp, where you will check in and settle into your elegant and cozy tent. Then, take a short drive or stroll up the sand dunes to witness a breathtaking sunset over the golden desert. As night falls, gather around a warm campfire, marvel at the star-studded sky, and enjoy a delicious dinner freshly prepared at the camp. After a serene night in your charming and restful tent, wake up to a delightful breakfast before continuing your adventure.

Sur

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the desert camp, we set off on a 2-hour scenic drive towards the coastal town of Sur, with a short tea break along the way to stretch your legs and refresh. As we drive, you’ll enjoy stunning views of rugged mountains, desert landscapes, and charming Omani villages.

Wadi Shab

After a 2-hour scenic drive, we arrive at the stunning Wadi Shab. Upon arrival, we take a short boat ride across the wadi, which brings us to the starting point of our hike. From here, we begin our adventure through the wadi, surrounded by dramatic cliffs, turquoise pools, and lush natural scenery. Our main goal is to reach the famous Wadi Shab cave, a hidden gem where you can marvel at the crystal-clear waters and unique rock formations. Along the way, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beauty of nature, take photos, and even take a refreshing swim in the pools.

Tiwi

After completing our adventure at Wadi Shab, we stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor traditional Omani flavors and recharge for the afternoon.

Bimmah Sinkhole

Our journey then takes us to our final destination, the magnificent Sinkhole. Here, you can marvel at this natural geological wonder, explore the surrounding area, and take in the breathtaking scenery before we heading back to Muscat.

Muscat

Finally, we drive back to Muscat, passing through the scenic route without stopping, and drop you off at your hotel, concluding your memorable day of adventure and exploration.
