Try scuba diving with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program! Explore the underwater world for the first time, learn basic safety skills, and dive with the guidance of a PADI Instructor.
Designed for beginners, discover scuba diving is the best program to start your adventure. Our team of instructors will go over the scuba equipment and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear. In shallow water, we will practice the basic safety skills. When you feel ready, we will take you into your first underwater experience. Have fun swimming around and exploring. Finally, you will learn how to take care of the equipment and talk about your experience.
At Scuba Turtles we strongly believe in customer's experience. Therefore, for our Discover Scuba Diving, we never mix different groups of people so we can provide you with the ultimate private experience!

What To Expect
Designed for beginners, PADI Discover Scuba Diving is the best program to start your adventure. Our team of instructors will give you the knowledge and skills necessary for your first dive. We meet at the Dive Center, where we complete the necessary paperwork. Then, you are ready for your briefing. We will cover everything you need to know about equipment and safety while scuba diving. After all the theory, we will move into practice. In shallow water, we will practice the basic safety skills. When you feel ready, we will take you into your first underwater experience. Finally, you will learn how to take care of the equipment and talk about your experience. The full program takes two hours and a half from our meeting time.

5.00Amazing shore and boat dive with Harry, Anna and the crew at Scuba Turtles. Professional, knowledgeable and excellent gear, particularly love the electric scooter they use to transfer gear down to the marina. The crew is warm and friendly, happily catering to even first time divers.

5.00I had a fantastic experience at Scuba Turtles Dive Center in Marathopoli! For a first-time dive, this is the perfect spot to try. The dive center is well-maintained and conveniently located right across the street from the shore. Entry into the water is a simple step down over rocks into the sea, about 2 to 3 meters below the surface, so there’s no sediment kicked up during entry, making for excellent visibility throughout the dive. Andreias and Sylvia were extremely helpful and accommodating, ensuring you feel comfortable every step of the way. Their expertise and friendly demeanor made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Scuba Turtles for anyone looking to try diving for the first time or seeking a great diving experience in Greece.

5.00We booked a dive for my dad’s birthday. Ended up staying for 2 more dives as it was so fun, including a night dive and Proti Island! Loads of wildlife and things to see. The team there were so kind, friendly, and welcoming. Sylvie, Andreas, and Virginie were all absolutely lovely. Throughout the dives Virginie was showing us animals and pointing things out (and Andreas did the same for the night dive). They answered any questions, ensured we felt safe and comfortable, did a short briefing before each dive so we knew what/where we were headed and just generally made the day amazing. Not to mention we had only booked 1 dive so they were able to fit in 2 more dives for us on the same day! The set up there is of a very high standard and their own reef dive is literally opposite the shop. What an awesome day. It’s a shame we’re not staying longer as I would’ve loved to do more dives with them - and my advanced open water PADI.

5.00My wife and 11 and 13 year old children did the discover scuba experience. Their instructor, Virginie, was very patient and spoke excellent clear English. They had instruction, a quick test on the safety basics, then got kitted up for a very short walk across to some steps down into the most amazingly clear sea where they practiced safety techniques and ascending and descending before heading off on swim tour around the area for about an hour. The water really is as clear as the photos. I can't dive for medical reasons, but snorkelled along watching them. Virginie was very attentive as she led them throughout the dive, watching them, helping them occasionally with buoyancy etc, and pointing out things as they went along. There's an outside shower by the entrance to the water
