Domaine Robert Roth
It is in Soultz, a small town located at the southern gates of the Alsace vineyard that the Roth family cultivates vines since the 1940's, on the sandstone and limestone soils of the hills protected from the Vosges mountains. They combine high standards, rigor and sensitivity and produce Great Bio Wines, identifiable by their stature, their precision and their longevity. Patrick, Christophe, Victor and Charlotte ROTH, 3rd and 4th generation of winegrowers-harvesters, make beat the heart of the Domaine.

5.00We had such a fantastic day on this wine tour - there were four of us in total, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Jean, our guide, truly went above and beyond to make the experience feel special from start to finish. He was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly while also tailoring the day to what we enjoyed most. Each winery offered something different, giving us a great sense of variety and a deeper appreciation for the region’s wines. We all had different favourite types of wines, and Jean catered to that perfectly. What really stood out was how much we learned along the way. Jean shared fascinating insights about the wines, the winemaking process, and the region itself, along with helpful tips that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own, for example restaurant recommendations. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and well-curated wine experience. ❤️❤️❤️

5.00What a wonderful, educational experience! Jean, our wine tour expert and driver took us on some of the quaintest little towns to meet the wine makers themselves. He took special care to ensure we had a lovely time, down to the minute details. The ride was comfortable and the wine delicious. I would highly recommend if you are looking to learn about this special wine making region of France, Alsace.

5.00Highly recommended tour for family with young adult kids or close knit group. Particularly awesome at avoiding tourist traps and taking us to superb family run jewels in the Alsace wine community. Our guide, Jean, was super knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with. Would absolutely book this tour again.

5.00We had a wonderful tour of the Route Du Vin thanks to our guide Jean and the folks at Alsace Wine Tours. From the morning when we were picked up at our hotel to the end of the afternoon when we were dropped off, we enjoyed friendly, knowledgable and punctual service. There was lots of storytelling about the history of the Alsace region, French culture and one on one tours at wineries, along with tastings. A great way to spend a day in the east of France!
