What To Expect
Bohemia
Depart from Prague and travel through the Bohemian countryside toward Saxony. During the drive, your guide provides brief context about the region as you make your way to Saxon Switzerland National Park.
Bastei Bridge
Walk across Bastei Bridge and follow well-maintained paths through the sandstone formations of Saxon Switzerland National Park. Along the way, you’ll visit several viewpoints above the Elbe River and see the ruins of Neurathen Castle while learning about the area’s geology and history.

5.00We had a wonderful on a small toyr grouo wirh Stefan. We were promptly pucked up at our hotel and were driven through the countru side to Dresdon Germany. Stopped and a waonderful nature park with sandstone rock formations, great vistas of the valleys below and a sandstone bridge. Stefan took the time to walk us through the property giving us the best views and also acting as a personnel photographer. Onto Dresdon which was a remarkable example of a city rebuilt after being bombed during WWII. Care was taken to salvage what they could and what was rebuilt emulated what preceded it. Stefan was a great guide, walking us through the city, explaining everything and the tour gave us time on our own for lunch. He suggested places , then brought us there, looked at the menu and gave recommendations. On the way back had some some spare time and instead of cutting the tour a little short brought us to a concentration camp to view the grounds outside. Great tour. Great guide

5.00I am so glad we booked this tour. Filip was the best guide. This tour picks you up at your hotel. No looking for the person with the umbrella or flag on a stick. Filip was friendly and tailored the tour to our likes. Bastie Bridge and the park are gorgeous. Dresden was a beautiful city. We had time to take a many pictures as wee wanted and shop for souvenirs. I highly recommend booking this private tour. It was well worth the money.

5.00I would say a must visit as you can take a taste of another country. Spectacular sightseeings, comfortable transport, great tour guide (Stephan), plenty of free time, new historical information compose some of the interesting parts of the day trip to Dresden.

5.00There are lots of steps at bastei bridge but the views are totally worth it, and also take Euros coz you’re travelling to Germany. Absolutely fabulous trip - could not recommend it highly enough. Guide Stepan fantastic - so knowledgeable. Put us all totally at ease and nothing was too much trouble. Also made the day fun.A definite asset to Viator.

5.00A fantastic day. You get to see the Beautiful countryside outside of Prague and then in Germany. First visit to the Bastei Bridge. Spectacular/breathtaking views. This is a national park that is grand and incredible in size.Second stop to Dresden. Dresden is a stunning city with amazing architecture, spacious and peaceful. Everywhere you look there is something to wonder at. Our host Nicolei was knowledgeable friendly, funny and good company. I would honestly give this trip 10/10.

He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and shared everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. He also made the entire day feel smooth and well-organized, so we could just relax and enjoy the experience. He was very accommodating. It was the perfect balance of learning, sightseeing, and comfort. I highly recommend!

See National Park ✅ We wanted an authentic German Meal ✅ See The sights in Dresden✅ Filip even took us to see the Dancing House and Kafka Head because we never made it from Old Town out there. 5.00Visiting the Bastei Bridge in Germany was an unforgettable experience. It’s one of those rare places that feels almost unreal—the kind of landscape that stops you in your tracks. The bridge itself is not only visually stunning but also an incredible piece of history carved into the natural rock formations. The views over the Elbe River are breathtaking, soft and sweeping, with a magical, fairytale-like quality. The dramatic stone pillars rising around the bridge look like ancient guardians watching over the valley, creating a scene that stays with you long after you’ve left. Our guide, Filip, made the experience even more exceptional. He went above and beyond throughout the tour, sharing insights with patience and genuine enthusiasm. He also took us to the beautiful historic town of Dresden, where his knowledge and thoughtful pacing allowed us to truly appreciate the city’s charm.
