What To Expect

Hello & welcome to the most convenient and personalized way to tour Ubud and it’s surroundings. Nyoman, the Owner & Founder of Ubud Nature Private Driver & Tours will be your primary point of contact. He is reachable WhatsApp via calling or messaging. If/when Nyoman is available he will be your personal private driver for your tour. If/when he is assisting other customers during your desired tour date/time he will gladly book a trusted and respected driver for you. All tours are totally customizable and Nyoman does his absolute best to accommodate your every need. Whether you’d like a full day tour, half day tour or just have one specific location in mind that you are dying to go to, you’re trip is fully customizable and ready when you are. Just send Nyioman a phone call or message via what’s app and book your trip directly with him. The earlier notice you can ask for the better, but it’s also not a problem if you’re looking for a last minute adventure.

It was good to see Nyoman again after many years, he took us to some beautiful places on the island of Bali. Just in time he picked us up at the agreed place. During the ride Nyoman updated us about Balinese culture, customs, but also about the daily things that occur on the island. And all this with a quiet clear explanation. Impressive was also the visit to a waterfall, where several spices and fruit trees stood. Nyoman guided us through the greenery. The day ended with a heavy traffic jam on the way back, but Nyoman entertained us with Dutch music and actually sang along a word! We look back on a nice day, in which we learned even more about the beautiful island of Bali. Thanks again great friend, as indicated earlier we highly recommend Nyoman as Guide, and hope to see him again in good health for sure!

Nyoman was not just our driver, he was a kind, professional, trusted, and so incredibly needed ally in every aspect of our trip. He not only helped us get around, he booked tours and ferries for us, answered questions we had, offered advice and insights on the best things to do in Bali. Nyoman was always on time, always in good spirits, always making sure we were happy, safe and where we needed to go. His English is amazing, his personality and sense of humor always added value to every trip/tour, and his knowledge of his home are just a few of the things that make him so incredibly invaluable. Oh and his photo taking skills, come on! Nyoman is simply the best. He may have started as our driver, but he will now and forever be a friend and part of my “Bali family.” Anytime I go back, he will be the first person I call. Grateful is an understatement and we miss him already.

Nyoman was a great tour guide!!! My friends and I are female travelers and felt safe, he is very welcoming and personable. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without him as he knew all the good spots. He was adaptable to our needs and never said no to a request. I highly recommend him, you’ll be in the right hands!!! I know who to call whenever I’m in Ubud. Terima kasih Nyoman !!!!

If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, funny, and friendly to take you around Bali, Nyoman is the perfect person! Not only did we have a good time and learned so much about Balinese culture we felt extremely safe with him. I’m happy to say that after this trip we made a genuine friend! 10/10 recommend.

We spent a few days with Nyoman on our first visit to Bali. Nyoman was recommended by a friend who had visited Bali. Our week started with our an airport pickup. Prior to our arrival Nyoman communicated via What's App to arrange plans. If you've never landed in Denpasar, you are in for quite the experience. The airport is absolutely crazy with taxis and drivers (and the traffic once driving is wild too!). Nyoman was right where we planned which we were incredibly thankful about after 20+ hours of travel. What we like most was Nyoman friendly nature and helpfulness on the island. Along the way, we talked about Balinese culture, his family, the towns, and local etiquette. During the week we ventured to Ubud, Taneh Lot, and Nusa Dua. When we visit new places we look for drivers/guides/people we can trust, who are friendly and knowledge with recommendations/culture. Nyoman get an A+! The reviews are great for a reason - trust them. We'll book again on our next visit to Bali.

Nyoman quickly became our go to driver and guide for everything during our 4-month stay in Bali. He is very knowledgeable and a great communicator. He gave great referrals for cooking classes, healers and great recommendations for building your itineraries. He also leads an organization of drivers from his local village so anytime we needed more than one vehicle, he was able to arrange that for us and all his drivers are wonderful. We learned so much from Nyoman about the Balinese culture, family and way of life. My kids have come to know him as Uncle Nyoman. If you are looking for an authentic Balinese experience that will create lasting memories for your family, I highly recommend hiring Nyoman as your guide.

We did a rice terrace and waterfall tour from ubud. Nyoman was friendly and helpful and the car was spacious. The price he gave was affordable split between two people. I’d recommend going with him!

Nyoman was a fantastic tour guide, driver, and trip organizer! We contacted him less than 24 hours' before our plane landed in Bali and he was able to coordinate a driver for us and book us on a fast boat to Gili. Once we arrived back in Ubud, Nyoman organized an incredible tour of the region for us. He worked with us to identify the sites that were best for us and came prepared for everything - he offered us umbrellas, beautiful saris, and cold water. His personal tours of the temples were amazing and we were able to learn quite a bit about the practices and history of Balinese Hinduism. Nyoman is passionate about Bali, and it shows in everything he does. He's full of knowledge and offered lots of insights into Balinese culture -- and he does so with perfect English! I truly cannot recommend Nyoman enough and highly suggest that you reach out to him for your trip to Bali. He's also very well-connected in the community (and a public servant to boot!), so if he can't help you, he will work hard to connect you with another trustworthy colleague.
