Our driver was friendly, punctional & attentive to our needs and request. His past experience made the whole trip easy and and relaxing. As a history buff the Eagles Nest was my favorite part of the trip but my thirteen year old grandson loved our tour of the salt mine. We toured several countries in Europe and he said this was his favorite part of the entire sixteen day trip.

The itinerary listed Eagle’s Nest, Documentation Center, the town, and the Salt Mines. Our guide was great, but said that we could not do that itinerary. He said we could do the Documentation Center and a brief visit to the town, or we could visit the Salt Mines. He was correct — we could not have done all of these activities in the allotted time. We were disappointed that the itinerary was so inaccurate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our guide, Carlos, was so knowledgeable and friendly. He dealt with traffic woes and got us where we needed to be on time. The experience had just the right amount of personal touch to let us know that he was listening to our interests.

Carlos made what could be a complicated trip using public transport work like clockwork for the six of us. Stunning scenery and history. Became an extension of our Sound of Music tour as he took us where the opening scene was filmed and shared a wealth of info! The Eagle’s Nest is awe inspiring in its history and stunning location. All profits from this reminder of the Third Reich and WWII go to charity. The salt mine was also interesting and fun!
