Ephesus does not owe its importance in antiquity but its development as a major trade center and its capital. The biggest temple of the Artemis cult, which is part of the ancient Anatolian goddess (Kybele) tradition, is located in Ephesus. This temple is considered one of the seven wonders of the world.

Ancient City of Ephesus
You will be pick up from your hotel or Cruise port in kusadasi by your licenced guide and first experience will be the Ancient City of Ephesus. Ephesus was inhabited from the end of the Bronze Age, but the location of the city was changed owing to the silting up process of the river Cayster and because of various rulers. The ancient city that we visit today is the 3rd location of Ephesus from the 3rd C BC. As you enter the site with your guide you are going to see lots of impressive monumental structures in this Greko-Roman city such as starting from the Gate of Magnesia; Agoras including the Commercial Agora, Roman Baths, Basilica, Odeon(Buleterion), Domitian Square containing more ruins spread around including Nike Relief, Gate of Heracles, Three main collonaded streets of Ephesus including the Harbour street, Trajan Fountain, Temple of Hadrian, Latrines(ancient public toilets), Teracce Houses(from outside), Library of Celsus, Grand Theatre, Gymnasium and more…
Sirince Koyu
Your final destination in the historical part of your tour will be the old Greek Village” Sirince(Şirince)” which means “pretty”. Today the village is a perfect synthesis of Turk-Greek culture. Your guide will take you around the village as following the narrow streets in between the old Greek houses, and then you will be having the chance to enjoy your free time for a while as walking around streets where you see the villagers selling their own handicrafts, needle works all around.

We had exceptional full day tour with our guide Ozge. Her knowledge of Ephesus was excellent, never rushed at all. A nice surprise at end with local delicious baklava that we were able to share with friends.

The tour was fantastic. Ayse was very welcoming and very knowledgeable. She looked after us really well, ensuring that we were OK at all times. She went at the pace we required and accommodated all our needs. The driver was also very good and careful at driving. The Ephesus tour itself was very interesting and highly recommended. Sirinci village is also very beautiful and cultural. We also stopped at a pottery factory run by a family which was incredible and a leather factory which was entertaining. Overall this tour is highly recommended. Thanks to Omer for organising everything for us and ensuring a smooth tour.

Ayse was very nice, welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable and a very good tour guide. Sirinci Village was also very pretty little village, lots of handmade art, jams, syrups. I tasted some jams and bought some.

We booked this whilst taking a walk through the town. We were browsing and, one of the reasons we booked with this company and not another is because they were not pushy. They answered all our questions and let us go away and think about it. The next day, we went and booked it. The driver was on time and nothing was a problem for him. As it was a private tour, we didnt feel rushed or have to stay at a certain attraction we were not interested in as is the way with coach organised tours. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip to the sirince village and bought several souvenirs and wine from there. Would recommend and use this company again. 5 stars all round
