  We've done almost 100 escape rooms all over the world, but this experience was by far the worst ever! The advertising promises best in class escape rooms, but compared to other companies in budapest this simply isnt worth the money. Pieces of broken mirror (which was used as decoration) were just left in the corner of the room. You need cables to unlock doors, the whole wiring looks really dangerous, often there is just explanaition in hungarian. You get a printed "guidebook" for the room. There are no walkys for communication. You have to wave (!) into the cams. But theres only one (!) host, who also needs to reset rooms, welcome new guests, and give intros. So its no wonder that we've been waving for almost 5mins and nobody reacted and helped us. To be honest, it was the first room ever where we thought about aborting the experience begore finishing and just leave. The whole cellar really smelled bad, the decoration was poorly printed stuff just pinned at the walls. Tech did not work half of the time. Not to mention that they're using labels of well known films and companies for huge advertisings - i assume without their permission. Go to other places, Budapest has very good - really "best in class" escape rooms which are worth your money, but do not spend it here! I do not know where those 5 star reviews do come from, must be friends and family, or simply bought.

  The place and the quality of the games were a disappointment. Based on the reviews, we thought it would be a super good program, on the contrary, what we got: everything was covered with OSB, low-budget design in the rooms, and the game itself was as exciting as the must-read Sons of the Stone-Hearted Man.

  Our game master was a great host, offering us just enough guidance to keep us engaged without ever stepping on the thrill of discovery. The puzzles were the real stars of the game. Perfectly pitched, they offered just the right level of challenge for our group of varied skill levels. Every clue felt like a key to unlocking the story, and every solution we found was a victory that brought us closer together. Each riddle and clue was cleverly designed, keeping us on our toes and, more importantly, working as a team. Our adrenaline was high as we raced against the clock. :D

  Great experience, we expected an original escape room experience in Budapest and got it 100%. We booked the game and contacted the provider as instructed, we could choose the appointment and the themed game we preferred, our choice was avengers. Since it was a private booking there were only the 4of us and we enjoyed it very much! Creative and clever puzzles in a great ambiance. Definitely recommended!

  I had the recent pleasure of experiencing this escape room, (to be specific we tried their wizard world game) and I must say, it left me utterly speechless. The room itself was great reagrding puzzle design. Each challenge was unique, engaging, and struck a careful balance between being sufficiently tricky to keep us thinking but not so difficult that we felt frustrated or stuck. We found ourselves moving from moment to moment, each success fueling our excitement and drive to reach the end. The escape game's location, tucked within the historic streets of Budapest, was part of its charm. A perfect blend of the old and new, the locale was easy to find and added an extra level of allure to the whole adventure. Right from the moment we were greeted by the friendly staff to the moment we finally, triumphantly, 'escaped', every detail was nicely planned and executed. They did a brilliant job setting the tone for our adventure, with atmospheric lighting and a mysterious storyline that kept us on our toes.

  Nice escape but pity in one of the rooms the electrical system was down, to do it is primary but well thought out... nice staff but it takes a good level of English anyway

  I have played close to 200 escape rooms and Im basing this review on my own experiences. The rooms we chose was the Joker and I will say the game play wasn't to bad with some really fun puzzles I haven't seen before which is refreshing when you reach a high level of games played. We decided to book at Lockmein while we were in Budapest as it was advertised with words like New Generation story, Build and decorated with passion and love and completely immersive which sadly didn't appear to be true in my experience. We arrived and were taken in to the waiting room that was also the GMs work station. The rooms were underground and it looked an smelt that way ( Basement), It appeared as if no effort was made to make the room clean and welcoming. The sofa provided looked and felt dirty and dust and there were so many loose wired all over the place with no attempt to hide them. At this point I felt like I wanted to leave but decided to give the room a chance as we have been to other escape rooms where the rooms were much better than the waiting room. We were lead in the room and the door closed behind us, I was still disappointed in the way the room looked, just as dirty as the waiting room with almost no effort to make the room look like a police station we were apparently in. We also were given a booklet that helped with the story and gave some clues for the game that was also something that I have not seen before but also allowed us to see the story for parts of the game we hadn't reached. We had Fun and had a laugh but I'm sorry to say I did feel dirty and dint really want to touch to much. I can see why teams that haven't really played escape rooms would give 5 starts but sadly as a groups with a higher expectations I didn't quite leave 100% satisfy. The cost was also more than much better rooms else where in Budapest, I would recommend to have a look around before booking.

  Nagyon kedves volt a játévezető, változatosak és izgalmasak voltak a feladatok! Bármikor vissza jönnénk egy újabb kalandra! U. I.: Kicsit büdi volt Hulk keze! The host of the game was really nice, and there was a big variety of exciting tasks. We would return anytime for a new adventure. P. S.: however the hand of Hulk was a bit smelly.

  Team is good. They speek english and hungarian. The game setup is excelent and intresting. Collecting the stones and solving the puzzles with avengers to end the game makes more excited.
