What To Expect
Mirador Degollada De La Yegua
First stop at a Mirador from where you will have a spectacular view of Playa Del Ingles, its dunes and its lighthouse.
Fataga
Stop at Fataga and short walk in the village. This peaceful village perched high in a valley is made up of small, well-preserved white houses and small, narrow, flowery streets. It is surrounded by ravines, pine trees and a lush and unique palm grove.

5.00An absolutely exceptional day in the mountains of the island! Fabien is much more than a guide: he is passionate, and it is felt at every moment. Throughout the day, he made us discover authentic places, far from the classic tourist circuits, with a real desire to share the history, culture and soul of the Canaries. The explanations are rich, clear, punctuated by many anecdotes that make the journey lively and captivating. We leave with a true understanding of the island, not just a succession of beautiful landscapes (even if they are incredible). Special mention also for the lunch break: a typical Canarian meal, simple, authentic, far from the tourist catchers, perfectly in the spirit of the day. Everything was great: Fabien’s sympathy, the chosen spots, the exchanges, the atmosphere... A human and cultural experience that is definitely worth a visit. A huge thank you to Fabien — I would also recommend that you close your eyes to anyone who wants to experience something real.

Beautiful landscapes in the mountains, visit of pretty atypical villages with interesting and enriching explanations (San Bartolome de Tirajana, Theresa, Pico de Las Nieves, Santa Lucia...) and in French 🙂! All this, in a good mood, not to mention that Fabien is a very good driver. We recommend 100%..

5.00We have booked 2 tours with Fabien, one in the mountains and another in north and west of Gran Canaria. Everything is not so bad. You notice that Fabien has a lot of experience. He also adapts the tour to the wishes of the customer. Also takes his time and wants to give you a holiday feeling. Fabien takes you away from mass tourism. Want to show the beauty of the island. The montain tour was very beautiful, you are amazed how beautiful the interior is, also the villages, very picturesque. The north and west tour is also beautiful, here you will also visit a few coastal villages where there is no mass tourism. Fabien has also always taken pictures of our family which he then sends the day after.
10/10 would recommend this tour

5.00We saw a lot of the island so if there is one tour to do, choose this one. Fabien was an amazing tour guide, very friendly and informative. He made the tour very personal and catered to our interests and needs. Going above and beyond by taking many pictures of us and taking us to an amazing local restaurant in the mountains. Hope to do your other tours in the future.

5.00We had the pleasure of spending two amazing days with Fabien earlier in Febryary this year (sorry I am coming back so late!) :-) One day was a full-day trip to the mountains, the other a falf-day tour — and both were truly memorable. Fabien is a fantastic storyteller and guide and really nice person to spend time with! He shares interesting information about the places he takes you to, and what really stood out is that he avoids the overly touristy spots in favor of more authentic, lesser-known locations if you are only keen on seeing them! He is also incredibly flexible and easygoing, we adjusted out experience to what you’re most interested in without ever rushing and to our psyhical condition! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a personalized and enriching way to explore the island. And he took us to the place with amazing fod too for lunch!

5.00My husband and I were hiking in the mountains together with Fabien, it was a fantastic trip where we saw a lot and Fabien is a fantastic telling both about nature and history. He speaks good English and has a cool personality. We can warmly recommend him as a guide for both this trip and other tours, this is not the last time we book a trip with him.

5.00This tour was beyond our expectations! Fabien is so informative on both historic and current Gran Canaria life, especially with all our questions! Fabien is very accommodating and friendly and he has a great sense of humour. We saw the beautiful mountains, moody and cloudy at first, then brilliant sunshine for the rest of the day with fantastic views everywhere. A very relaxing drive and we felt completely safe at all times. You get so much more out of your day than from being on a crowded bus trip. It is well worth it and, if you do nothing else, do this tour! Highly recommended. Thank you Fabien. 😀

5.00If you want to see the mountains of Gran Canaria and learn about the island and its history, then you need to do this tour. Fabian is friendly, personable, accommodating, and very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable and safe the entire time. We went to so many view points, had a great lunch and were able to shop without feeling pressured or taken to “tourist traps”. Enlisting a local is the best way to see the island and learn about local culture and the tour being private is an absolute bonus! Thank you Fabian for the great day and for taking photos of us that we will look back on and treasure!

5.00We had a fantastic tour of the mountains and several picturesque villages with Fabien. It was a relaxing day, not rushed in any way, and Fabien takes his time when driving along the mountain roads so you feel safe at all times. Fabien has tailored his tour to ensure you see the best places and views and he takes you further into the villages so you see how they live today and how they used to live. His knowledge is second to none. We were picked up at our hotel by Fabien at 9am and we returned at 7pm. A long day but WOW what a day . Thank you Fabien. We highly recommend this tour.
