What To Expect
It is a conscious walk, connecting with the surroundings, synchronizing the senses with nature, we will walk about 45 minutes under large trees, with meditation, we will arrive at a place to apprehend mother wing Tiera with a cocoa ceremony. IMPORTANT: We only accept reservations with a minimum of 2 people.

She guided us through the cacao ceremony with such care and intention, sharing the wisdom of her people in a way that was both accessible and deeply moving. Tirza carries the traditions of her community with pride and grace. She spoke beautifully about Iriria alokolpa – the sacred body of Mother Earth – and how everything in life is interconnected. She shared the spiritual meaning of cacao and corn, the vital role of women in the Bribri culture, and the belief that true spiritual paths choose you, not the other way around. What made this experience so special was Tirza herself – her loving energy, her ability to create a space of connection and respect, and the way she honored every part of the ceremony. Everything was done with attention and care, honoring both the tradition and us as guests. Thank you, Tirza, for sharing your wisdom, your softness, and your strength. You carry something truly sacred, and it was an honor to be part of it, even if just for a moment.

5.00The visit to the shaman and the Bribris was impressive, a unique experience. Andres and Jeannette showed us the medicinal plants and explained that we were allowed to lend a hand ourselves during chocolate processing on July 16, 25.

5.00Highly, highly recommend! My wife and I went on this excursion without being familiar with the BriBri people. Our guide, Tirza, was an amazing guide and host, welcoming us to her village and culture. The ride on the river was breathtaking. Making chocolate from cocoa beans and swimming in the river were some of the highlights of our entire stay in Costa Rica. Thank you for an amazing experience!
