  Denise was amazing! My sister and I booked this tour to get to know a bit about Stanley and see a little of everything. Denise gave us an in depth tour about the history of Stanley and showed us different locations with penguins. The tour was tailored to our interests and Denise was very knowledgeable on the history, ecology and biodiversity of the Falkland Islands. We would definitely do this again if we get the chance to visit. Also, this is perfect for cruisers looking to make the most of Stanley without worrying about timing. The lunch and snacks provided were delicious and given the wet conditions it was a great option to be able to move the picnic indoors to the car. Denise was a very safe driver and the car was immaculate. Can’t say enough great things about this tour!

  It was great. Denise, a German who has lived in the Falkland Islands for 12 years, was already waiting for us at the pier. Perfect. Our ride went individually adapted. We have learned an enormous amount about life in the Falkland Islands, fauna and wildlife. We have seen beautiful landscapes and many, many penguins without crowds. Stunning!! An unforgettable experience!! Also the Picnic Lunch was extremely delicious, lovingly prepared by Denise!   Denise was a wealth of knowledge. She was punctual & a wonderful communicator! Very nice clean car. We had a delicious homemade lunch with even homemade choc chip cookies! It was rainy in the morning but clear blue skies popped out around 1:00. Saw plenty of penguins and 3 different kinds. Highly recommend her. She’s worth every penny!

  This was a true CUSTOM experience. Denise was waiting for us in an impeccably clean car. She had special treats, and she treated us like VIPs all day. Her knowledge of the area is vast and covers everything from history to geology to penguins to flora and fauna. The homemade lunch was delicious and authentic. What we appreciated the most was the time we got to spend at each stop. We we never rushed and truly enjoyed how she let us choose what we wanted to focus on. She even adjusted the itinerary to include a stop at the grocery store (needed Coke Zero). Denise was an absolute pleasure to spend a day with!

  I was very excited to visit Stanley and the surrounding area during a port visit the cruise I was on made. The ship options for this stop were limited, expensive and crowded. My friends and I opted for a private tour, and we were not disappointed! Denise was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to adjust her tour to fit our desires. We were particularly interested in wildlife viewing and we were treated to some amazing sights and experiences. Best of all, we were allowed to stay at each stop as long as we wanted to. No rushing to get back on the bus for us! Denise was aware of our time limitation and made sure we were back at the port in time to make it back to the ship. What a fantastic way to spend the day!

  Denise Blake knows the Falklands! She’s a marine biologist working on a PhD in geography. You can ask her anything and chances are that she’ll know. Very comfortable electric Volkswagen.

  Denise was an excellent guide - knowledgeable and friendly. Her experience and enthusiasm of the natural sciences of the region was obvious. Our tour was unhurried and relaxed, plenty of time to photograph and just absorb the uniqueness of the Islands. Personal touches, such as lunch, side trips and local lore, made for an excellent, and unforgetable, day.

  Denise is knowledgeable and communicative. The sights we visited, and the travelling between them, were spectacular and unique. Comfortable ride, special attention ( good lunch) and promptness gave us a worthwhile and enjoyable day. We wish we had longer!
