If you’re looking for a great family inclusive activity whilst visiting Cornwall then a family friendly surf lesson in Newquay is perfect. Our family friendly surf lessons are private just for you and your family. These lessons are two hours long, fun, safe and educational, and include all the equipment. Its a great treat for the whole family come rain or shine!
You cant come to Cornwall and not get the sea!
All of our surf coaches hold Beach Lifeguard qualifications and ISA Surf Coaching awards as standard.

What To Expect
Our Private Family Surf Lessons in Newquay are a great way to get an introduction to surfing and enjoy time on the beach in a safe environment. From beach and surf safety to paddling, popping and turning the lessons aims to give everyone a great introduction to surfing. Our family lessons give you the chance to learn in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. j Our instructors are able to helps kids and adults (even if you are a total beginner) to have fun in the water. All of our instructors are trained to be able to give you the best chance of learning to paddle properly, stand on a board and simply become better surfers. By the end you'll be confident to rent a surfboard on your own and enjoy the surf in your own time.

5.00We attended the Family Surf Lesson on Fistral Beach with our instructor Willow, and our two children aged 6 and 8.. This is one of the best activities we’ve done with our kids on a holiday, we all absolutely loved it. Willow was really friendly, very patient, and absolutely amazing with our children showing them the ropes in the shallower waters whilst he encouraged us to try and catch a wave a little deeper. It’s great fun and amazing to see your children catch a wave just right. We practised lay down and then attempted to stand up, which the kids managed better than us. Ours was a private group with just our family. I’d highly recommend this activity and thank you Willow for making it so enjoyable.

5.00Brilliant surf company ran by jay the owner Our instructor max was fantastic we were in a party of 8 and he managed ti give all of us tge attention required to get us on our way and he managed to get nearly all of the group standing up whilst surfing (some of us not as long as others) Great experience highly recommend

5.00I took my kids surfing for the first time (8, 11 and 14) with Cornish Wave and it was brilliant! We had such a good time! everything was included, explained very well... Was fun and we all managed to catch a few waves and stand up on the board! The kids loved it and would recommend it to any family that has not been surfing before!
