Taj Mahal
Arriving at Agra train station, where your tour guide and the driver will pick you up to be taken to the famous tourist attractions of Agra, the Taj Mahal. Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The most extravagant expression of love ever created and where 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan’s beloved wife.The expected length of visit is 90 Minutes. Note: Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday.
Agra Fort
You will explore the heart of the Mughal Empire, Agra Fort. This building itself gives you the view of the glorious reign of the Mughals. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1566, the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna. You will feel as if you are stepping back into history within this walled palatial city. The expected length of visit is 90 Minutes. After visiting Agra Fort you will enjoy lunch in a restaurant providing you different flours of Agra City.

5.00After our New/Old Delhi all day tour, we went on this tour to Agra “Taj Mahal” which was also arranged before we left Australia. Asim and his team were fantastic in arranging our hotel pickup, got us on the train “Executive class” and made sure that we’re settled. Arriving in Agra, we were berated by Abdul and the driver and treated like royalty all day long. They made sure that we’re settled and got to see and have the best of this once in a lifetime awesome experience. Do yourself a favour and hire a professional photographer when you arrive at the Taj Mahal. This is what we did and we were able to see and appreciate the grandeur of the Taj Mahal, whithout having to worry about capturing the best photo. The photographer knew where to take the best shots and we ended up with the most captivating 120 pics. Abdul was fantastic in taking care of us as well and shared his knowledge of the historical monument with us. Very grateful to Asim, Abdul and the drivers that took very good care of us.

5.00We had the best time on this tour, we were looked after from start to finish. Impeccable service and the guides were super friendly and informative and couldn’t do enough for us. We booked another tour with Asim the next day and did and saw things we wouldn’t have done without him. He made our trip to Delhi. He’s a legend!! If you want the best tours in Delhi, stop thinking about it and book now! 😊

5.00So glad we did this trip, everything ran like clockwork, from the hotel pick up, making sure we got our seats on the train and the tour itself. The Taj Mahal is a real spectacle and the fort was great. Rajesh our guide was very informative and took great photos too! Lunch was really good, with lots of things to choose from. I would highly recommend this trip.

5.00This was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken. The service was impeccable and the guide Imran was the most knowledgeable and fun guide I’ve ever had. He knew were all the best pic spots were and is an excellent photographer to boot. I was a solo female traveler and felt safe the whole time with him and the rest of the team. I couldn’t recommend this more, if I could give it 100 stars I would!

5.00Review Everything was taken care of for us they got us on the train and in our seats. Hyder Ali had cold water and Everything we needed along the way. He was thoughtful to bring an umbrella for shade as we walked around with our 3 year old. It was informative and helped us take great pictures at the Taj Mahal.

5.00We have had a lovely experience on the trip to Agra and the Taj Mahal the train journey from Delhi was quick and comfortable and we were collect from hotel. At Agra we were collected from the carriage by Mr Kahif Khan and driver and taken to the Taj Mahal the car was very clean and comfortable. Mr zkashif Khan was very knowledgeable and made the experience a very pleasant one. Latr we went to see the marble worker which was a very interesting experience after which we went for lunch which was excellent. I would like to thank Mr Kashif Khan for making the day a wonderful experience

5.00This is the first time visit of India, and I have two small kids. So I was really warried about food, getting in troubled, and getting cheated and so on. So I decided to go by tour. It's the second day of tour now. But my choice were not wrong for now. First day I met driver at Delhi airport, and he took us to Agra directly because our flight was too late to begin sightseeing in Delhi. So we asked to reschedule to put sightseeing of Delhi to the last day. First 2 days in Agra, very nice guide named sameer took us around Agra. In second day we visited Taj mahal and Agra fort. He called driver after every place in perfect time not to make us wait in the sun. And what I loved about him was his hospitality, which was more than expected. He always helpful to us, especially to my kids. I had been too much scared of " traveling India with small kids", but I could feel safe with him. He always made us laugh and my kids loved him. If I come to India, I'll definitely use this company again. I am in the middle of 4 days tour, so I will come back to write review of Jaipur and Delhi tour.

5.00This tour was an exceptional experience with my guide Samir making a number of recommendations and allowing for adjustments in the itinerary to avoid crowds, etc. The tour operator, Asim, was the most attentive and available operator I have encountered in my many years of travel. He rescued me more than once with a phone charger, etc. Asim was always very accessible and communicative and creates a number of special tour options in many parts of India. I have not made it back home yet but have already begun planning my next trip to Calcutta and will include some of the other nature/lake and other areas with Asim when I return later in the year. I highly recommend the flexibility an concierge service of a private tour under the care of Asim Ahmed with A Star Tours.
The Only Way to See the Taj Mahal from Delhi

5.00I selected A Star through Viator not knowing what to expect. The reason for the choice was that included a train trip from Delhi which is, for me, the only way to travel. What I did not realize was that I would be going by India's highest speed train which runs non-stop from Delhi. We departed at 8:10 and arrived at 9:50. Return was at 5:35. What this meant was that I had a long day to spend visiting the Taj Mahal, For, and Black Taj. I was met at my hotel in Delhi and returned there with the same driver. At Agra, Sameer met the train and took me on a personal tour. I came to see the Taj and was not only fortunate to have a beautiful day but also a knowledgeably guide. The tour included a very nice lunch at the Marriott (it did not have to be there, but it was worth having a change from just Indian food. I can make two recommendations. First, if in India for perhaps the only time make a point to go to the Taj Mahal even if this means a round trip flight and overnight in Agra or Delhi. At either place, I recommend using A Star, and one will not be disappointed. My wife and I have had another of escorted visits to different sites in various parts of the world. This and my visit to the Dharavi slum in Mumbai were two of the best I have ever had. By he way, the train was icing on the cake.

5.00Organisation by A Star Tours was top: pick-up at hotel in Dehli, accompaniment to the train, pickup in Agra, tour in Agra and back to the hotel. Plenty interresting information by guide on the places we visited and history of Agra and India. Fantastic support and advise for best spots to take pictures! If you like photography, there could be no better support!
I fully recommend this one-day tour.
