Our Private Charter to Saona Island tour takes place onboard our beautiful 38 foot motorized double decker catamaran. This is the perfect tour for those who wish to visit the beautiful Saona island on their own terms.

As a certified diver please make sure you allow at least 18 hours out of the water after your last dive prior to your flight
Consider your physical health when choosing this activity as swimming can be strenuous and ocean currents change and may be a challenge if you are not physically fit.
Diving within 24 hours prior to flying is not recommended. All participants in dive courses will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive
The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions

What To Expect
Travel time from pick up to the boat is roughly 50 minutes from Punta Cana. Our first stop is the Atlantic Princess shipwreck where you will snorkel. Enjoy snacks as we cruise to the next stop. Peñon Reef a joy for both snorkelers & divers will love searching for turtles and stingrays. Afterwards, Cruise to Saona Island - all snorkelers will have free time to explore the beach, swim, snorkel at the old pier, shop for souvenirs or get a massage. Meanwhile the divers will do their second dive. Later everyone will wnjoy a buffet lunch together on the island. Starfish Cay (Palmilla), a waist-deep crystal clear sandbar is our last stop. Enjoy the music, drinks or the wonderful views as we start our journey back to where your air conditioned vehicle will be waiting to take you back to the hotel. You can expect to return to the hotel by roughly 5 pm depending on the location. Note to divers: you will be grouped by experience level and never dive more than 4 divers to one guide. We are a PADI Diver Center Please note that any portion of this tour may be changed at your request as this is your Private Tour and you may choose to stay longer or forgo stops as you wish.

5.00Lise is the ultimate professional and her crews are amazing. Just back from our 2nd charter. First on the Majesty 56. Two days ago on La Dichosa. Both experiences TOP NOTCH! From planning to pick-up, on the water to return to resort. Spot on! We will be back. Wouldn't look anywhere else.

We booked La Dichosa Private Catamaran as part of my parents’ 60th wedding anniversary celebration, and it was absolutely perfect. 5.00What an amazing trip. We had six in our family. The snorkeling was great, we saw sea turtles, an eagle ray, starfish. The snorkeling instructor helped my son get down 15 feet and touch a ship wreak. The food was great, all 4 kids ate everything. The bean bag chairs in front were fantastic. The water and beach were perfect. All 6 of us agreed it was our favorite thing on this vacation. If you get a chance definintly book with them, they made the whole day absolutely perfect. Thank you so much!

5.00If you're looking for a venue to celebrate a special occasions with a group of 30 or more. I highly recommend this full day cruise. Round trip transportation is available from your resort to the port. The staff is professional and courteous and seem to care about the wellbeing of their clients from making sure the menus are served according to the clients wishes to taking request for music, snorkeling or swimming. From the moment we were greeted at our hotel to the moment we left the boat the crew's hospitality were 1st class, we had the most amazing day and loved every second, my husband did his 1st dive whilst me and our 4 children were snorkeling and saw turtles and starfish, Julia captured the most amazing photos of our family some posed and some just us enjoying family time, priceless! If you book one excursion on your holiday book this one you will not regret it.

5.00We booked a private boat tour via WhatsApp and the communication was fantastic from the get go. We were invoiced our bill which is better than other companies as in the DR it's upto 20% fee for using a credit card. We were picked up promptly from our hotel, explained what to expect through out the day. We were asked if we have any allergies etc which is always a good sign for us. Upon arriving at the port we made a quick bathroom stop and were straight onto our boat. The crew considered of 3 people, all were very friendly. The first stop is at shop wreck and you snorkel with a guide. One of our group is a little uneasy in the water and we made sure the crew knew this. Our second stop was at Saona Island, we were one of the first boats to dock here so had the pick of the beds. We relaxed here for about 30-40 mins, took pictures, looked around the local shop on the beach before having lunch. Plenty of variety for our group, lots of beverages offered to us. After lunch we were given another 45 mins ISH to relax in the ocean and sunbathe. Then we got back onto the boat and went to our 3rd stop which was the reef. We were guided around and we were lucky enough to see multiple stingray and turtles. Our final stop was to see the large starfish. This is a shallow stop and we had about 30-40 mins here. Overall we recommend this private tour. It's got everything you could need and more.

5.00We stopped to snorkel over a shipwreck, a coral reef with stingrays and sea turtles, stopped at a beach for lunch and play time in the water, and then headed be more snorkel stop to see a bunch of starfish. Our tour guides were all fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. They made the day enjoyable.
