What To Expect

Petra

Tour Description – Petra Round Trip from Aqaba Port At around 09:00 AM, your driver will pick you up from Aqaba Port for a direct 2-hour journey to Petra, the ancient capital of the Nabataean Arabs. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Petra is famous for its remarkable rock-cut architecture and advanced water systems. With your private local guide, begin the tour at the Visitor Centre and make your way to the Siq, either on horseback or on foot. This narrow gorge leads you to Petra’s most iconic monument—the Treasury (Al Khazneh). From there, continue along the Street of Facades to explore the Royal Tombs, the Roman Theatre, and Qasr Al Bint. After some free time to explore on your own, return to the entrance and meet your driver at the Visitor Centre for the 2-hour transfer back to Aqaba Port. Total Duration: Approximately 8 hours, including transportation.

This trip was fantastic! Everything was meticulously planned and executed by our amazing driver Mohammed. Use your driver's local knowledge if you are on this tour; don't be hesitant to do so. In particular, Muhammad arranged for us to have a wonderful guide in Petra who took us on the "back road," which began at the monastery and was physically demanding in both directions, but was a beautiful way to see the city without crowds.

Incredible experience to have in Jordan. Petra is a magic, we dream to see Petra, but my dream comes true! Our driver was at Aqaba port on time, he was holding a sign of our names, he was patient, helpful and very friendly! Also gave us a great information about Petra. He really great person and informative as well. I would recommend this trip to anyone use Aqaba port and have a limited time

Our private tour, which was flexible and reasonably priced, began at the port of Aqaba, and after all the necessary formalities, the driver drove us to Petra. Emad's planning for us was excellent. Imad gave us his kind attention from the beginning to the conclusion, allowing us to get a deeper sense of and understanding of Jordan and its culture, customs, etc. Great experience and great time!
