Your great local guide and the driver will meet you at your downtown Hangzhou hotel or train station if you travel by train, spend few mins to discuss with your guide the sites you are interested to visit or follow the following recommended itinerary. As private customized tour, the itinerary is totally flexible and can be 100% customized around you. Be sure to tell your guide if you need make any changes. Typically, start the visit at the UNESCO site West Lake ,enjoy a nice walk along Su causeway ,see some of the top 10 famed sites such as the Lotus park, Flower and fish pond which used to be a private imperial garden while learning the interesting folklores and history from your guide, you may choose to enjoy a relaxing boat cruise to fully appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the Lake.
Longjing tea fields
Next, head to the famous Longjin tea plantation, where you will enjoy the spectacular countryside view with vast tea terrace, enjoy a short hike along the lush green plantation and learn how to pick the tea leaves and learn the local fascinating tea culture and produce. 5.00Emily was a great tour guide. The itinerary was personalized to the sites we wanted to see and we used every minute of our tour! Emily also did some hiking with us in the scorching humid summer heat. She provided recommendations to let us avoid some crowds and regaled our kids with classic Chinese legends that were related to Xihou and Hangzhou. The car was very clean and comfortable. Driver was smooth. Would highly recommend!

5.00This was a private tour for our group of six. Sunny, the organizer of the tour was very good at communication. Virginia our tour guide for the day was very knowledgeable and did a great job of maneuvering our group through some of the more crowded areas so we did not need to wait in line. Being able to have just our group on the tour allowed us to spend time in areas that we wanted to focus on. We chose the lunch option but rather than have it at a local farmhouse, we let Virginia choose a restaurant and it was an amazing choice. Maybe one of our best restaurants for the entire trip to China! I definitely recommend this tour and this tour group - especially if you have a large group of five or more people.
