Your great local guide and the driver will meet you at your downtown Hangzhou hotel or train station if you travel by train, spend few mins to discuss with your guide the sites you are interested to visit or follow the following recommended itinerary. As private customized tour, the itinerary is totally flexible and can be 100% customized around you. Be sure to tell your guide if you need make any changes. Typically, start the visit at the UNESCO site West Lake ,enjoy a nice walk along Su causeway ,see some of the top 10 famed sites such as the Lotus park, Flower and fish pond which used to be a private imperial garden while learning the interesting folklores and history from your guide, you may choose to enjoy a relaxing boat cruise to fully appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the Lake.

Next, head to the famous Longjin tea plantation, where you will enjoy the spectacular countryside view with vast tea terrace, enjoy a short hike along the lush green plantation and learn how to pick the tea leaves and learn the local fascinating tea culture and produce. 5.00Guide and driver are courteay, punctual. Florence is fluently bilingual and her local historical narration on the visit to Xi Hu and Ling Yin Si makes the entire trip enjoyable with ancedotes and legends stories including backstories. Her recomendation of lunch at Green Tea Restaurant is a hit with everyone from starters to desserts. Awesome trip itineries without over exhaustive and overaching goals. Just enough for family of 6 to pan thru the day from 10am-4pm.

5.00Emily was very knowledgeable and was very patient to explain all the sights. We enjoyed the west lake boat ride and the temple tour. The tea plantation visit was also good and the tea tasting of the drink was good. It would be good to pick the tea leaves but because of the weather, we could not. Anyway, would definitely recommend the tour to everyone. Would also like to thank the driver, the driving was smooth for the whole journey, the car was spacious and he brought us safely back to the hotel.

5.00Great day with our guide Sarah! Our group of 4 was picked up and returned to train station. Efficient driver. Enjoyed West Lake, tea plantation visit and Linglin Temple. Recommend this tour as you can customize. Note: train station large and busy. Get precise meeting point for pickup (we had some confusion).

5.00Jim was an amazing tour guide, who took care of us all day. Didn’t even have lunch himself. It was very hot when we visited, so convince to have Jim who took us around. We went through most of the important sites in Hangzhou in one day with our 4 year old. Thank you Jim for your planning and hospitality. Our family had an amazing time because of you.
