5.00Ismael Paredes was the best guide ever! We were very lucky to have him for 2 full days of touring. He took us to Mindo, where we visited a hummingbird sanctuary and a butterfly preserve, as well as riding a cable car over a gorge and then hiking to a beautiful waterfall. Along the way he took us to a fabulous restaurant with outdoor dining and superb local food. We also got to tour a local chocolate factory and sample the delightful products. The next day he met us at our hotel and took us on a fascinating walking tour of Quito's historic center, including a visit to the cathedral where we climbed up to the tower, and the golden church, and the Franciscan monastery, and another delicious lunch at a characteristic restaurant. We even got to visit the very interesting local market, where he introduced us to a fruit vendor who allowed us to sample many kinds of exotic fruits. We could not have had two better, more exciting and fun-filled days in Mindo and Quito than we had with Ismael! He even took pictures of us and sent them to us - wonderful memories to treasure always.

5.00We had a wonderful day exploring Quito. Ishmael was a super flexible guide who was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. He adjusted the itinerary so that we had clearer weather and visibility at the top of the cable car. The view was simply spectacular. We had a great visit to a local market in town. We enjoyed a walk about at the Basilica and around Old Town. The lunch spot was fantastic and featured amazing local dishes. We closed the day with a visit to the equator. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Ishmael was an incredible guide. He communicated with me before our tour to introduce himself and ask if I had any questions. We spent a busy day at a relaxing pace around Quito and I learned some of the history and culture facts. He was vey knowledgeable and easy to talk to with excellent English. I would highly recommend him to family and friends or any looking for a small group private and personal adventure in Ecuador. It was the perfect way to begin my trip!

5.00Initially Ismael took our larger group for a tour of Quito. The various churches, presidents office, town square, markets followed by an incredible lunch made for a great day that was crowned with a visit to the equator!!! We enjoyed Ismael's knowledge and friendliness, next day my father and I took the 2 day tour to Cotopaxi and Banos. This surpassed all expectations and made a great trip one of our best travel experiences ever. The Hike up Coto, paragliding, exploring Banos, hot springs, swing around the world, Cable car and Ziplining packed a lifetime of memories into two days... Highly recommended!!! Next we hope to return to spend time in the amazon and hike up a volcano or two...
