This was our first time to Egypt, and our first time booking a private tour. We compared many tour guides and ended up with Go Luxor because Michael was responsive and understood our needs. We found their guides, drivers, and cars were all amazing. Michael was able to customize our tour based on our interests (we want to see more of the museums and famous temples), and Michael fully accommodated our needs, plans, and pace. We visited Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel, and Luxor. At the last minute, we wanted to change the trip to return to Cairo earlier to visit the old Egyptian museum, and Michael helped make it happen. We learned a lot from this tour. The driver was safe and reliable. Highly recommended!

Great experience overall. Michael was incredibly communicative and resourceful. Not only did he arrange tours and transportation he also organized great deals on airfare between Cairo and Luxor. Mina and Shereen were great tour guides and very knowledgeable. They were happy to answer all of our questions and went out of their way to educate us on Egyptian Antiquity. I'd not only recommend but also book use Michael and Go Luxor tours again.

For over a decade, we have consistently opted for personalized private tours when organizing trips globally, collaborating with local tour agencies in each destination. Go Luxor Tours, a remarkable agency based in Luxor, provided us with customized tours that included a car, guide, and driver, making them an ideal choice for us. We are thrilled to recommend Go Luxor Tours to anyone looking for specialized, professional, and personalized tours in Egypt without any anxiety. Michael Samir of Go Luxor Tours played a key role in planning our trip according to our exact preferences and supported us throughout. He offered valuable advice on choice of accommodations for our seven-day tour, managed our flights between Cairo-Aswan and Luxor-Cairo, and arranged all tour tickets, including a visit to the New Grand Egyptian Museum at Giza. Mike was incredibly responsive, adeptly handling our last-minute requests for additional tours. Initially, we doubted the speed of his responses, but further research showed that both Rick Steves Europe: Tours, Travel, TV & Vacations, as featured on PBS, and Trip Advisor gave glowing reviews of Go Luxor Tours. The guides selected for us were highly knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, addressing all our inquiries. Special thanks go to Mina, our guide in Cairo and Giza, and to George, our exceptional guide on the Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor, who was informative, caring, and patient. Michael Samir ensured we had an outstanding cruise boat for the Nile Cruise. We wholeheartedly recommend Mike and Go Luxor Tours to anyone planning a tour.- Mandyam and Rama Tirumalachar

We selected Go Luxor tour as our main travel partners as a family friends had used them previously and recommended them. Mike was very prompt in responding back to our questions and arranged everything for us as requested. On the day of the trip, we were collected by Aya our tour guide from our hotel and taken to the Sakkara Pyramids, Memphis and then to the Giza Pyramid complex.. She was a wonder host and excellent guide. The trip was well arranged in a very comfortable van for us. Aya was very knowledgeable and a fun guide who informed us about the history of the places we were visiting. Would definitely recommend

Everything went very smoothly. I got the airport transfers and the private day tour to the Giza pyramids. Pricing seemed very fair. My driver, Michael, was on time for everything and was good at navigating the crazy Egypt traffic. My English speaking tour guide, Yehya, was very knowledgeable and highly educated in Egyptology. He took me all over the necropolis, explained everything, and answered all my questions. I opted to pay extra to go inside of the Great pyramid. Note that going inside is a bit of a workout and requires walking up some steep cramped tunnels while crouching in hot temps. They also made a reservation for me at Khufu’s for lunch, where I got to sit with a front row view of the pyramids and the food was excellent too. Overall communication was excellent and I was told what to expect over WhatsApp. I would recommend Go Luxor Tours.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Mike to arrange four days of tours in Cairo before and after our Red Sea diving and Nile dahabiya. Mike was an amazing communicator and helped us sort out an incredible itinerary and was always so responsive whenever I had questions. Our tour guide, Fady, was such a great source of information and always made sure we were taken care of on our tours. We were able to see the Giza plateau, Sakkara, Dahshur, the ole museum, the GEM, Islamic and Coptic Cairo, and multiple palaces. I would not hesitate one moment to recommend Mike and his company Go Luxor Tours to anyone wanting a fantastic guided experience in Egypt! My only regret was that we didn’t get to tour with Mike in Luxor - although we didn’t run in to him at Valley of the Kings while we were with our dahabiya boat!

We had a great time in Cairo. Michael arranged the trip-- he did a great job, our tour guide was Fady, he provided great background information about the Giza pyramids. He is well versed with the history of the Pyramids. The driver, (Michael had arranged) was also on time. The Giza Pyramids as one can imagine are always crowded and in the summer it is very hot. I recommend, getting there early, bring water and wearing a hat, and wear comfortable waking shoes. you can go inside the pyramids but the entrance steps are very narrow and some are steep. Lots of vendors selling various trinkets/things etc.PS. Binoculars are not allowed in the Pyramids we had to pay 200 Egyptian pounds to have our stored at the Pyramids and then we retrieved them after the visit. We enjoyed our trip thoroughly

4 of us traveled via private tour for 2 weeks with the amazing Go Luxor crew - starting in Cairo, then to Aswan, sailed the nile for a few nights, time in Luxor, organized transfers to/from Hurghada, and then a final few days in Cairo. The whole trip was seamless start to finish! Michael is incredibly responsive and let me tailor the trip to meet exactly my families' needs. All of our guides were extremely knowledgeable and fun! We enjoyed getting to know them as much as learning from them throughout the trip. Drivers were incredibly kind & punctual and safe drivers - which if you've driven in Cairo, you know means a lot! Michael organized our nile river cruise which was also a hit, especially as a family that typically doesn't like to cruise. The experience was amazing and the boat we were on was a great fit for a normally non-cruising crowd. I'd recommend the Go Luxor team to absolutely anyone. The organization is fabulous, and they made our trip as easy as possible (even escorting us to the front of the visa on arrival line at the airport to save time!!) Thank you thank you thank you Michael & crew! :)

Would highly rate this company. Did a 1 day tour of the pyramids and Cairo in late December on a long layover. I was initially hesitant to visit Egypt traveling with young children, but Go Luxor had very good reviews and Michael was super helpful in arranging a custom private tour and taking care of all the details before and during the tour. Logistics were seamless and we really enjoyed seeing many sights, riding camels and visiting local markets in the city. Maged was an amazing tour guide that was very friendly and organized and had extensive knowledge about all of the places we visited. Would highly recommend without hesitation
