What To Expect
Our trip is to high Mountain lake – Iskanderkul (2 255). It is situated in the famous Fann Mountains. This fabulous area is one of the best places for trekking. The road to the lakes goes over Anzob pass (2700 m) with amazing panorama views.
After arrival to the lake you will go for a walk along it beaches. Than you will Visit the Snake Lake. its a small Lake not far from Iskandarkul Also we will hike 40 minutes to see a waterfall- Niagra of Fann Mountains.

5.00We did an amazing day trip to Iskandarkul lake from Dushanbe. Driver was friendly, gave us interesting information, and was a very safe driver. We did a hike to a waterfall, enjoyed walking parts of the lake, and took in the stunning views. After we returned to the city. Highly recommend this day trip. Thank you Oriz for organizing.

5.00Had a great day in early winter, experienced the amazing snow fall en route to the lake and back to Dushanbee. Enjoying the wonderful view at the lake. Also had a driver who was quite respectful, friendly and a good photographer.

5.00I went on this tour solo and my expectations were surpassed. Oriz was very professional and an excellent guide. He spoke fluent English so he taught me a lot about Tajikistan. Also, the drive felt much faster/shorter than what I expected. The views on the road and at the lake were amazing. This is must-do tour for anyone visiting Dushanbe

A way to see an area outside Dushanbe

5.00We had an experienced driver who also told us history of Tajikistan and the area we were driving to. It is a long drive (almost 3 hours) and then a short visit to take photos before driving back. No lunch stop and the only bathroom stop was when we arrived at the lake to take some photos. There was no opportunity to hike. If you are looking for a trip to see an area with the mountains and other villages it is a good day.

5.00The trip was fantastic. Everything was according to the schedule. The tour guide Dilik was in front of the hotel with the driver even before 9:00 with a new and clean car. The driver safely drove us through the Tajikistani traffic rollercoaster (including the infamous "tunnel od death" - Anzob Tunnel) and we reached the lake, took a stroll on the beaches, had lunch in the restaurant and hiked to the waterfall and back. Then a ride to Dushanbe with obligatory car wash stop to remove the dirt and dust before entering the city.

3.00It's a long and beautiful drive and the lake is beautiful as well. We were not aware we had to pay for our guide's meal as well after already being charged so much!
