This is a private full day tour from Zhengzhou to Shaolin Temple. Shaolin Temple is the birthplace of Martial Arts and Chan Buddhism. Take a cable car up to Mt.Song and enjoy a great view up there in a distance or hike to the top Temple: Sanhuang Village Scenic Resort.
Entrance fee, round-trip cable car tickets, local lunch, private transfer are all inclusive.

What To Expect
Monastero Shaolin (Shaolin Temple)
Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your downtown hotel in Zhengzhou and head to Shaolin Temple (about 1.5 hours driving), which locates in Dengfeng County, Henan province. It was originally built in 495 in the Northern Wei Dynasty (368-534), reputed to be 'the Number One Temple under Heaven'. Accompanied by your tour guide, you will first visit Shanmen Hall, Hall of Heavenly Kings and Thousand-Buddha Hall.
Pagoda Forest of Shaolin Temple
Followed by the Pagoda Forest at Shaolin Temple, the most interesting part of the whole complex. It refers to the 228 stone or brick pagodas built from 791 AD during the Tang Dynasty through the Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, and Qing Dynasty.

5.00Jimmy is a wonderful guide and has a lot of knowledge and good english. The tour is very well organized and you can see all the main sites without feeling rushed. This tour is a must if you are in Zhengzhou and I would recommend it without hesitation. The service provided is very good, it has exceded my expectations. One of the best tours I have done. Jimmy knows everything about history and is a very good company, I could have not asked for a better tour guide.

5.00It was a wonderful hike at Mount Song. The views of the mountain and from the mountain were just amazingly awesome. We spent 5h hiking in mountains, immersing in the sheer beauty of nature. The tour guide tailored the tour itinerary to my preference and accompanied me throughout the hike. I am sincerely grateful. Strongly recommended!!!
