What To Expect
Wadi Shab
Through the Coast from Muscat to Quriyat and over the plateau Travel down and Reach Wadi Shab. You will be taken for breathtaking Visual Scenes, "the most beautiful among Muscat tours scenes", an easy walk through the Wadi and you will have a picnic there. About 40 minutes walk through the canyon and green terraced gardens will bring you to a series of streams and pools. You will now have the opportunity to swim in crystal clear water and swim through a narrow keyhole, magnificent cave to Surface inside, which contains an inspiring waterfall. The cave is a magnificent magical place. Stop at Fins Beach. Relax a while. Return to Muscat. (Kindly note that the wadi is strewn with rocks and pebbles which makes walking difficult. Advisable to wear sturdy walking shoes.

Bimmah Sink Hole, a big crater near the sea with a small lake at the bottom, which is believed to have been created by meteor

5.00Fantastic day trip Wadi Shab. Ahmed was the perfect guide. Knowledgable and friendly, he made us immediately comfortable. Throughout the hike and swim our safety was his priority. A real professional, we had a brilliant time. We hope to book Ahmed for future tours. (One administrative note: Sunshine Tours Oman never contacted us or responded to any of our messages via TripAdvisor. They did respond promptly when we sent messages directly via WhatsApp.)

5.00Wonderful excursion to the Wadi. Very knowledgeable guide. The Wadi is huge and you can spend substantial time there. We also had delicious food and a few nice stops on our way back.

5.00This was our second trip with Hamood, and once again it was outstanding! We visited the sinkhole and loved how there was never any hesitation to stop whenever we wanted — everything was completely at our pace. His car is super new, clean, and very comfortable, which made the whole journey even more enjoyable. The wadi was an unforgettable experience and truly a highlight — something we had never seen before. We always felt safe and well taken care of, especially when navigating the slippery stones. Hamood quickly picked up on our interest in animals and shared so much knowledge about nature and wildlife along the way. After the wadi, we stopped for photos at Wadi Tiwi and later stayed at the Al Jinz Reserve to watch turtles hatching! Once again, we can only highly recommend Hamood. He is incredibly experienced, attentive, and truly takes care of everything. An exceptional guide!
