What To Expect
Batu Caves
Batu Caves is a limestone hill, which has a series of caves and cave temples, located in Gombak district, 13 kilometres (8 miles) north of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Sungai Batu or Batu River, which flows past the hill. Batu Caves is also the name of the nearby village. Batu Caves is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan. It is the focal point of Hindu festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia. It is also known as the 10th Caves or Hill for Lord Muruga as it is one of the ten most important shrines in India and Malaysia. The Lord Murugan statue at the foot of Batu Caves is the second tallest Hindu deity statue in the world with a heroic height of 42.7 metres (140 ft.). The limestone forming Batu Caves is said to be around 400 million years old.
Upon arrival, we will stop at the Skyway Cable Car and take a ride on one of the longest and fastest gondola lifts in Southeast Asia to the summit of Genting Highlands. Have a breathtaking experience and fabulous natural view of the mountain and forest. Like watching the forest from the sky.

5.00Great speaking English driver on time! Car was excellent, pick me up at my hotel lobby, Spent entire day with us to ensure we are safe. We can leave our stuff in the car.
Just get a taxi cab for half the cost...you would have a better experience

1.00BE AWARE THIS IS NOTHING MORE THAN A GLORIFIED TAXI SERVICE. Literally. The guy picked us up, said nothing the entire trip and just dropped us off in front of the premium outlets in genting and in front of the batu caves. No explanation of what we were supposed to do, see...absolutely nothing. He was a nice enough guy and the Car was clean, but I could've just gotten a grab car for half the cost (believe me I compared the prices afterwards). Also genting is nothing but an outlet mall. And not even a good one. Finally, the person who runs this tour is horrible. I had to call constantly to get any kind of update on this car service and he was rude as all get out. All in all just get a taxi.

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Raj. He went the extra mile by explaining the rich history and culture of Malaysia, as well as pointing out important places along the way. He was thoughtful and patient, even stopping at McDonald’s for a kids’ break and running over time without hesitation. Raj’s professionalism, kindness, and dedication made our trip truly memorable. Highly recommend him as the best driver!

5.00Ramana was a fantastic driver! Note that this is not a guided tour but the ideal way to explore Batu Caves and Genting at your own leisure with a driver that takes you to both locations. This is the best way to see Batu Caves & Genting as your driver leaves you to explore/shop etc on your own without a big group of people. Perfect!
