Join us on a private tour where we get you to local spots off the beaten path to really get an "away from the crowd" experience. We will get ahead of the crowds by leaving at 8AM and travel to Glencoe. Whilst in Glencoe we will explore several areas that are really only accessible on small private tours like this. We can customise the tour to suit you, but please be aware we will only do this in the area up to including Glencoe, for areas further North this will require a separate tour.
You will travel in an air conditioned Mercedes van that seats up to 7 people or a Land Rover Disovery Sport for up to 3 people and and we travel at a pace to suit your needs. We will stop at beautiful locations to get stunning views of, lochs, mountains and hopefully some wildlife and then the stunning views that are on offer on Glencoe.

A Highlands Tour that checked all the boxes for everyone in the van!

5.00We did a customized Highlands Tour on Sept 11, 2025. Worked with Will who was incredibly helpful and accommodating our various requests. We were on a family trip (lowest age 48 to eldest at 90yo!) and our driver, Adrian, was able to show us the coolest sights despite my Mom's mobility issues. Pick up and drop-off very convenient as was right at the Hotel. Lovely scenic drive through quaint towns and villages. Highlights included Loch Lubnaig, Dochart Falls plus a lovely lunch at the Inn and Smokehouse (get the salmon tasting plate!). Wrapped up at the Forth Bridge (which inspired us to take the Maid of the Forth tour to Incholm Abbey on a separate day). Adrian was highly knowledgeable about Scottish history, architecture, literature, arts etc and we had a cracking time learning about it all. We couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you!

5.00My husband and I spent a really enjoyable day touring the Highlands with Scott as our driver/guide. It was our first time to Scotland and he was a fountain of information— history, myths and legends, and facts and figures. His passion for people and showing off Scotland were evident in every moment throughout the day. He took great care of us and highly recommend him.

5.00Our day started with a cheerful greeting from our guide, Scott. He was prompt, friendly, and made us comfortable right away, literally and figuratively. The weather was rough- rain and wind- named storm, in fact, but the warmth and generosity of our guide made up for it. We learned a ton of interesting facts, stories, and lore (myths and legends) during our day trip with Scott, and enjoyed the beauty of the countryside from the warmth and comfort of the tour. We took photos, had snacks and a few breaks to stretch our legs along the way, including beautiful views, laughter, and some tasty treats. We enjoyed every minute of our tour for a lot of reasons. However, the thing that made ours so memorable was our amazing guide, Scott. He connected well with each of us, including our teen, and had her chatting up a storm, which is rare! We are grateful we had such a great guide, and appreciated how it made such a rainy day that much brighter.
An amazing adventure you cannot get from those big bus group tours!

5.00Our driver, Jim, was amazing. We are a family of 5 and really did not have a specific agenda. Just to see the beautiful highlands and whatever else Jim thought would be good for us and he did not disappoint. On our way out we stopped in a small town for some coffee, pastries and hairy coo’s! Then on to the highlands. Mountains, waterfalls, rivers, railroads, castles, we saw it all and Jim was a constant plethora of information! We traveled down some single lane roads you could never go down on a big tour bus, we found and stopped at the exact location pictures from James Bond Skyfall were taken and recreated the photos, minus the Aston Martin. If you want to get off the beaten path and see things you could never do on a tour bus or just want to customize your adventure, this is the tour for you. I will also add you will do it in comfort. The vehicle was a small Mercedes van and quite comfortable for 9 hours on the road!

5.00Our tour guide was Scott. He was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. He was on-time, very thoughtful, a gentleman, scholar, and very funny. He was a fantastic ambassador for Scotland and helped make this tour memorable. We fell in love with the countryside and love Scotland’s rich history. We’ll definitely visit this area again.

5.00We were on a UK tour for my 40th birthday, and Edinburgh was our second stop after Belfast, and after that we headed to London. We booked the private Glencoe tour on my actual birthday-- It was hands down the highlight of our whole trip! We saw so much in one day from the castle where Outlander and Monty Python were filmed, to highland cows, the grave of Rob Roy and small waterfall near the church and graveyard, Glencoe bogs and majestic mountains, my partner got to be Daniel Craig for a moment recreating the Glencoe scene in Skyfall, we had lunch at a local pub, we even saw standing stones that were over four THOUSAND years old. Scott was a fantastic tour guide the whole way- sharing loads of information about the country, history, people, and more. He was witty, fun, checked in with what we needed (food, bathroom, etc.) and how we were doing, and made our trip even more special than we thought possible. He changed things up when the rain came pouring (we visited in April), and kept us seeing amazing things the whole day. We were even able to try a little whisky to celebrate my birthday. Thank you SO MUCH for making our trip so memorable and special. We feel lucky to have been able to spend the day with Scott, and to celebrate my birthday this way.

5.00My family and I did a day tour of Glencoe with Scott. It was a highlight of our trip! Scott picked us up from our hotel and was just an absolute delight from the moment we met him. As we were driving out of Edinburgh Scott took us by some must-see sites and talked about the history/background. As we made it to and through Glencoe, we saw bridges, monuments, and just absolutely picturesque lochs, mountains, waterfalls, and landscapes. We stopped and fed some highland cows that were just adorable! We also stopped at a mini Stonehenge type area with stones that were thousands of years old. We visited a number of quaint and lovely villages to break up the drive and do a bit of shopping with coffee breaks etc, which included stopping at a world-renowned chocolatier for a tasting! The tour ended with Scott dropping us off at our hotel. Again, this day was an absolute highlight and that was due in no small part to Scott. He was so lovely and funny and knowledgeable that it just made our day. I can't say enough nice things about the day and highly recommend it to anyone considering that tour.
