Starting with Oak Creek Canyon, one of americas most beautiful drives, then next on to the lava flows at Sunset Crater, and the 2800 Pueblos at Wupatki National monument, all while exploring the the ancient landscape the same way the natives had, so that when one arrives to the Grand Canyon they come in with full breath of readiness to experience it (we are the only company that spends time at multiple spots in each park). The journey before the Grand Canyon is majority exploring the painted desert! Before entering the Canyon we stop for lunch at the famous Cameron Trading post, then off to the East entrance, where we explore 4 points of interest to entirely take the day in, finally exiting at the south entrance. We take the the time to walk for an hour along the Rim path at the last destination, in Grand Canyon Village.
This is the most comprehensive and fulfilling day trip Journey. One could have to the Grand Canyon.

Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument
Explore the most recent lava flow in Arizona as well as the unique landscape that is so one of a kind,
Wupatki National Monument
Nestled between the Painted Desert and ponderosa highlands of northern Arizona, Wupatki is a landscape of legacies. Ancient pueblos dot red-rock outcroppings across miles of prairie. Where food and water seem impossible to find, people built pueblos, raised families, farmed, traded, and thrived. Today, if you linger and listen, earth and artifacts whisper their stories to us still.

Excellent tour with Connor who was both knowledgeable and personable. Great respect shown for native cultures. We saw and learned a lot. We were able to see a lot in a short period of time. The Grand Canyon was breathtaking.

We had a great day checking out three monuments and parks. My wife and I had driven ourselves there 25 years ago but I wanted to actually enjoy the ride this time, and have the benefit of a guide who could take us to the best stops. Connor was a wonderful guide. It was a long day but Connor was a fountain of information and kept the conversation and information coming. I’m a sponge for information so I probably asked a million questions but Connor was enthusiastic about archeology and geology and history and just kept answering everything. Even my wife, who hates long car rides, felt like it was worthwhile and she had learned a lot and that we saw a lot more than we had on our previous self-guided trip. The trip is well worth anyone’s time, and I have no doubt that we will consider a guided trip to the petrified forest when we inevitably return in 5 years or so.

Wow what an amazing adventure we had. Connor was so knowledgeable, kind and knew all the beautiful spots. A trip of a lifetime! We loved the private car, pick up from our Sedona short term rental and learning so much along the way. If you’re on the fence go with this company they will not disappoint!

This was our first trip to the Grand Canyon and we were so pleased to have experienced it with our guide, Connor. His passion and respect for the land and its people was so appreciated! The day was well paced and filled with meaningful conversation! Worth every penny!

Connor gave my husband and I a spectacular Grand Canyon experience. He has deep knowledge of the geology and history of the area and provided us with insightful discussion about the local culture and flora. He’s passionate about his work, respectful and a conscientious driver! We highly recommend him and look forward to another tour when we return to Sedona. Doreen & Bill

You will not regret either of these tours with Conner! My family of 5 took the Antelope Canyon full day tour (+ Glen Canyon Dam, Cameron Trading post and a bonus dinosaur track side trip) and the VIP Grand Canyon tour (+ Pueblo ruins and volcanic rock walk) and had an unforgettable time! Conner is so knowledgeable and shared so much about the ancient history, geology, the formations of the canyons, as well as information about the flora and fauna in the areas we drove through . The drives were long but Conner always kept us entertained! Would recommend him highly to any one who wants a once in a lifetime experience!!

Wow!!!! There is no way to describe how fabulous Connor was and how much we enjoyed this tour!!! Our daughter and her 16 year old twins were with us. It was hard for them to imagine being in a van for 11 hours to see the Grand Canyon. They/we had no idea what all there was to see on the drive from Sedona. We had driven to Antelope Canyon the day before on our own. We saw beautiful sites but no idea WHAT it was we were seeing. Connor described what we were seeing, history behind it and opened our eyes to just how amazing Arizona is. The pictures we took and Connor took of us, will be treasured forever. My husband and I saw the Grand Canyon 13 years ago. We did not have a guide. It was beautiful to see but we had no idea what we were looking at. Don’t make that mistake. If you take the time to go, see it the right way. We took the same group to Jackson Hole two years ago. They compared the trips many times during the week. Connor made it an easy choice to have Sedona and the Grand Canyon win out. Connor…from the bottom of our Alabama (War Eagle) hearts…thank you for an amazing experience.
