We had a great experience with Dammon tours. Food selected was excellent. Damon is very knowledgeable about Guangzhou. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and valued. He even gave us suggestions on hotel to stay although it was not part of the tour. We were very happy with 4 hours we spent with him I highly recommend him as a tour guide.

This is my second visit and I engage the same trusted, efficient and “always there” tour guide Damon. He was also my guide during my first March 2025 trip and i recommended him to my current family group without any hesitation. His experience and manoeuvring of the current conditions like weather, traffic, mosquito- related illness clusters , etc are amazingly accurate and offer change flexibility to cope. A truly five star trip!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience in this private tour with Guangzhou Local Tours, the Cantonese dim sum dinner at a traditional local restaurant(tea house was what they called) was a highlight, we had the most delicious authentic dim sum ever! We were the only foreigners eatting in the restaurant among the locals and we enjoyed that very much, not touristy place. After dinner we had a relaxed walk at Flower City Square, we were impressed by the gorgeous lights in the modern city after dark, we saw Guangdong Provincial Museum, Guangzhou Opera House, Asian Games Park, Canton Tower and Guangzhou Library. The book automatic circulation system and book shower machine(ultraviolet scanning sterilized) in Guangzhou Library is really amazing! Our guide Zack is very knowledgeable about his hometown(Guangzhou) , speak perfect English and provided great insight to the local culture and history of the city. The tour ends at Canton Tower wharf so one could easily extend their trip on their own by visiting Canton Tower(take elevator to go up) or taking the night cruise on Pearl River, the landmark and must to do things in Guangzhou. It's such a smooth and well planned tour we experienced and learned a lot in 3 hours! Highly recommended!

Zack met us at our hotel and escorted us first to an outstanding dinner of dim sum. The restaurant he took us was separately recommended to us by friends who frequent Hong Kong as the best place to have dim sum. Thankfully we had Zack as there were no pictures or English to choose our items. Zack made food recommendations based on the restaurant's specialties as well as local specialties. He shared local customs of etiquette for eating dim sum, without making us feel out of place. Following our satisfying dinner, Zack showed several architectural highlights, with details of what made them unique, how they were developed and how received by the locals. They were stunning with all the lights at night. At the end of the tour he escorted us to a place where we could purchase tickets for a riverboat cruise, and made sure we knew how to get "home" afterwards. As we departed, he offered to assist us in any way during the remainder of our trip. Little did we know that we would need to take him up on this offer.... His assistance the following day to sort out getting to our next destination was invaluable. And he even followed up with us to make sure all was good a few days later. I can't say enough about how much we appreciated this.
