Visit lately introduced Alibaba new concept supermarket in Guangzhou selling all kinds of items both online and offline, paid by Alipay auto machine and no cash needed. It's equipped with efficient item collection and delivery system to cater to the needs of online order from customers. You can see many staffs operating a hand-on machine and look for and collect any items in the supermarket with different color bags for different online ordered customers, hang the bags on the auto sliding chain system raising and running at the ceiling.

Being able to see more advanced technology involved in the daily lives in Mainland China was a very insightful experience, especially coming from a country that is less developed. While I did expect a more technical explanation of the tech along with the tour, Damon added more information that made the listening and learning worth it. It left me wanting more, but not in a way that made me regret the time there. Damon was also patient with our group, which was pretty huge (14 people including me, and some restless kids). He also can speak fluent English, which gave us a huge sigh of relief, as we were able to ask questions even translate couldn’t make sense of. In the end, you won’t just end up with a more complete perspective of Mainland China, but also with another friend who can educate pretty well. The tour in theory was like a simple tech show, but the tour guide made it satisfying and completing overall.
Excellent guide. Very friendly. Will definitely contact him again when we come to visit China again.

Xaq took us to explore the high-tech side of Guangzhou, including a visit to Tech City where we experienced a driverless bus ride — truly impressive! He also brought us to the Alibaba supermarket, where we saw smart retail technology in action. He explained everything clearly and tailored the experience to our interests. It was a fascinating glimpse into the future, and we really appreciated his insight and flexibility throughout the tour. Highly recommended!

We had a short amount of time to see and learn a bit about Guangzhou and Damon was the perfect guide for this. He picked us up from our hotel with his driver in a beautiful car and we spent the next few hours exploring and learning about Guangzhou and its people. Damon was flexible and has a wealth of knowledge and the tour was great. Would highly recommend.

A great tour from start to finish! Damon and his driver picked us up in a beautiful car and the whole tour was exactly what we wanted. We wish we had more time to see more of the city but we feel we got a great overview and learnt a lot about the city and its people and China as a whole. Damon also took us to a fantastic place for lunch where we sampled some delicious local cuisine. Would highly recommend Damon for any tours. Thank you again.
