Hagia Sophia is an active mosque and one of Istanbul’s most visited landmarks. Security lines may occur during busy periods, and skip-the-line access is not available.
Modest clothing is required when visiting mosques. Women should cover their hair, shoulders, and knees. Men should avoid shorts above the knee
This is a walking tour and requires a moderate amount of walking.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Blue Mosque is closed to visitors until approximately 2:30 PM on Fridays due to weekly congregational prayers.

We explored Topkapi Palace and enjoyed a beautiful Bosphorus cruise, and once again she was prompt, professional, exceptionally knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging throughout. She explained everything so well and shared many fascinating details that truly brought the history to life. Her warm and friendly nature made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I’m so glad I chose Nazmiyeh as our guide in Istanbul. She made both days memorable for our family and I would highly recommend her to anyone visiting the city.
