On this 10-hour roundtrip from Bergen, you will witness the amazing variety of the Western Norway's scenery! Lush forests, fjords, rushing mountain rivers and waterfalls, magnificent highland landscape and, of course, the Folgefonna glacier and the pristine Bondhus valley. This is a private tour only for you and your party - in a comfortable vehicle with a local driver-guide. Choose from 3 options: 1) Basic package, 2) Tour with a picnic basket for 3 people, and 3) Tour with a lunch basket for 7 people. This tour starts and ends in Bergen centre.
Car on this tour is one of our Mercedes minivans. When only 1-3 people are going on this tour, we may use our Tesla Model X. All of our cars have Passenger Transport Licence.

What To Expect
Bergen
Our tour starts in the city of Bergen - the Gateway to the Fjords. The city was founded in 1070 and contains many historical and cultural landmarks. We will pass some of them on our way from the city and also on our return to Bergen.
Osteroy Municipality
Sørfjorden or the South fjord is part of the Osterfjord which is a peculiar natural phenomenon: an salt water inlet that surrounds the largest inland island in Northern Europe - Osterøy Island - enclosed by contitental land. We drive along the South fjord until we come the the crossroads in Trengereid. (Usually we do not stop here.)

5.00My family's day with Vlad visiting the Hardangerfjord and Folgefonna glacier was, unanimously among all seven of us, the highlight of our two weeks in northern Europe. It is clear how passionate Vlad is about Norway's culture, history, and landscape. It's a rare treat to work with a guide who can make each minute of a 3- to 4-hour tour so interesting and informative, let alone for the 10.5 hours we were together! Vlad brilliantly engaged our whole crew from Grandma to the kids, and was always prepared to make each moment special - even while we had a brief wait in the van for the next ferry across the fjord. It's incredibly refreshing to have a guide who's perpetually more interested in asking if you're interested in taking a few more minutes to see something off the beaten path that few others do, and never feel like we're in a rush to finish the tour. My only regret is that we only booked one day - without a doubt I will be planning my next trip to Bergen around Vlad's availability!
Overall it was a great experience and a lovely trip. I recommend this to all tourists coming to Bergen.

5.00The best part of the tour was Vlad, our driver and guide, who took us to all the beautiful locales which the tour was supposed to cover, it was indeed a marvellous experience for all of us. The cost of the tour was surprisingly very economical as the tour covered many places. The visit to to the glacirer was extremely great and the walk behid a large waterfall was an experience very uncommon. Overall it was a great experience and a lovely trip. I recommend this to all tourists coming to Bergen.

5.00This tour is more than worth your money. Our tour guide, Vlad, was an excellent host. He was energetic and knowledgeable and helpful served us some warm Norwegian drinks which were excellent. The trip itself covers the most important areas in and around Bergen and you see the most beautiful sights. Highly recommend this one.
