Today, we have the opportunity to explore the famous San Agustín Archaeological Park. This park holds immense cultural value as it presents the legacy of an ancient civilization, represented by iconic statues, intricately designed tombs, and impressive monuments. During our exploration, we will visit the small archaeological museum, delve into the archaeological sites of Mesitas A, B, C, and D, stroll through the enchanting Forest of the Statues, admire the breathtaking Lavapatas Fountain, and ultimately reach the remarkable Alto del Lavapatas. The complete route spans approximately 3 kilometers and includes some moderate inclines with elevation differences of up to 70 meters. Naturally, we can tailor the route based on the interests and available time of our visitors, ensuring a personalized and captivating experience.
