Meet the Vikings and experience the highlights of Western Norway on our special tour to Gudvangen and the Nærøyfjord. This tour starts and ends in Bergen. You will visit Voss, Gudvangen and Flåm, witness the majestic beauty of this region: lush valleys and magnificent fjords surrounded by sheer mountains. We travel to the Nærøyfjord – a part of UNESCO World Heritage site: West-Norwegian Fjord Landscape area. Our main destination is the Viking Village, where you can meet the real modern day Vikings and learn about their history and culture. For a complete experience, we recommend taking a fjord cruise. Your own professional driver-guide is with you all the time (except the fjord cruise) and provides interesting commentary to the sights and general information about Norway. Duration is approx. 11.5 hours.
Car on this tour is one of our Mercedes minivans. When only 1-3 people are going on this tour, we may use our Tesla Model X. All of our cars have Norwegian Passenger Transport Licence.

What To Expect
Bergen
Our tour starts in the city of Bergen - the Gateway to the Fjords. The city was founded in 1070 and contains many historical and cultural landmarks. We will pass some of them on our way from the city and also on our return to Bergen.
Vossevangen
We pass through the town of Voss on our way to Gudvangen. The main historical attractions are Vangskyrkja - church from 1277, and the St.Olaf's cross from 1023.

5.00We visited Norway the last week of August. My husband and I spent our final full day in Norway on this tour. And we are sure glad we did! Vlad, was a fantastic tour guide, and we learned so much about Norway, the people and the areas we visited. He took us to a few hidden gems that were just amazing. We enjoyed everything from Goldfish Lake to Stegastein viewpoint. We felt like royalty and were treated to fresh apples, plums and pears from a local produce stand. He took some amazing photos of us in some of the most beautiful places. Don't hesitate to book with Vlad! You will have an experience of a lifetime.

5.00At the conclusion of a European tour, we wanted to see more of Norway. My wife found Jandis Tours and was connected to Vlad Morozov. Vlad and his firm provided highly professional and personable service throughout. He is very knowledgeable and provided excellent local perspective and commentary on historical elements. He was a very good tour guide, taking us to some very fun side stops, and arranging for a superior tour of the fjords - on the nicest tour boat I have been on - a stark contrast to the crumby, cramped little vessels in Amsterdam and others. It was a long day, but Vlad kept us informed, and sometimes entertained, and always actively engaged in the tour. The cost was more than reasonable, and I think he received the largest gratuity I have ever offered.

5.00The tour title says it well, you couldn’t ask for more, natural beauty of Norway in a nutshell , our guide Vlad did a great job describing everything from Bergen towards the end. A great plus for any journey to this beautiful country, I highly recommend the cruise toward Flam as a part from this tour.
