Wonderful experience! We went with our family (2 adults and 2 kids - 14 and 12), and local friends (1 adult and 1 toddler). The tour was super informative. The farm is beautiful, with amazing views, and wonderfully sustainable practices. We got to milk a cow and bottle-feed a baby cow! And the tasting at the end of the tour was a delicious spread! Would definitely recommend the tour and at least stopping by to buy locally, sustainably made cheese and milk products.

Visiting Queso Canaan was an incredible experience. It was neat to see the ins and outs of this small, family-run dairy farm. The operation is interesting and tasting cheese about as fresh as it comes was a culinary treat! We even got to milk a cow! What's more is this family farm sits on a rolling hill at the base of the mountain near the center of this rural town. The views are awe-inspiring. This was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Costa Rica.

Wow! This place is amazing. You can tell the family loves what they do. Wilber, Kattia and Stephen make delicious cheeses and they are such a warm, friendly family. They showed us around the farm and let my daughter pet the cows while we sampled amazing cheeses in the mountains.
