We will talk about myths and legends and visit the training places of the athletes, the sacred place of Olympia with the imposing temple of Zeus that housed the chrysanthemum statue of Zeus, and the temple of Hera where every four years the Olympic flame is lit that starts the games. Afterwards, we will visit the Olympic stadium where both small and large we could test our athletic endurance!

During the guided tour of the Archaeological Museum of Olympia we will have the opportunity to observe the grandiose works of art and objects connected to the Olympic Games and the sacred place of Olympia, including the fascinating pediments of the temple of Zeus, the tools of the sculptor Phidias who made the chrysanthemum statue of Zeus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Hermes of Praxiteles and the Nike of Peonio. Each statue, each object, speaks of a past rich in culture and values that still inspire the world today. The visit to the archaeological site of Olympia was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by our guide. With great competence and passion he accompanied us through the ruins, making us relive the history of the Olympic Games and the daily life of the ancient Greeks. The explanations were clear, detailed and never boring and in perfect Italian. Every monument, from the temple of Zeus to the stadium, came to life thanks to his stories and anecdotes that he was able to masterfully weave. She was able to answer all our questions with professionalism and helped us to imagine what Olympia was like in past centuries. In addition to the historical preparation, we appreciated his punctuality, his availability and his kindness that made the visit engaging. An experience that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to discover Olympia not only with their eyes, but also with their mind and heart.

The photos of Olympia found scrolling quickly on the internet do not do justice to the incredible discovery made to the city of Olympia. We must thank Natalia for making us live one of the most beautiful experiences of our journey to discover Greece!

We participated in this organized visit that made the experience magical. The history, the passion of the guide and the time of the tour(8am when no one was there) We toured both the site and the museum. It's worth it. Lasted a couple of hours.

Natalia was highly recommended by friends who had toured with her in Olympia last year. They told us it was excellent and that they were very satisfied, and they were absolutely right! She is an Italian-Greek archaeologist, with an extraordinary preparation and perfect Italian. From the very beginning, she was able to involve our children with enthusiasm and clear explanations, making the visit to ancient Olympia interesting, educational and fun for the whole family. You can immediately perceive his passion for history and his ability to transmit it with great competence. Our children loved it, so much so that they didn’t want to leave, and we adults learned a lot too, without ever losing attention! Highly recommended for those looking for a professional guide, friendly and suitable for all ages. An experience we will remember with pleasure!

Natalia is the best archaeologist guide I have ever had at an archaeological site. I was very interested in learning about Ancient Olympia, and I knew that exploring on my own wouldn’t compare to hearing from a knowledgeable guide who can point out important details and share fascinating stories. Natalia truly brought the site to life — you can tell she is genuinely passionate about her work, which makes the experience even more engaging and memorable. I met Natalia at the front entrance, and she was so welcoming and pleasant. I loved how she started the tour with a clear overview and a visual map of the site. As we explored different sections and temples, she showed me pictures of what the areas would have looked like in their prime. She’s also an excellent storyteller, and I learned so much from her. Natalia was kind enough to offer to take photos of me, including one standing exactly where the Olympic flame for the Olympic Games is lit, as well as pictures of the stadium and more. I highly recommend Natalia if you want an unforgettable tour of Ancient Olympia!

We had an unforgettable experience visiting Ancient Olympia with our guide, Natalia, who was truly exceptional. From the first moment she managed to involve not only us adults, but also our two children (aged 6 and 9), who simply loved her. She is an extraordinary storyteller, with a rare talent for making the story alive and fascinating. His warm and engaging way of telling kept the attention of the whole family alive for the duration of the visit. What makes it all the more special is the fact that she is a highly trained archaeologist, currently a PhD student, which has added great depth and richness to each explanation. Despite being very young, she proved to be extremely professional, passionate and competent. His energy and infectious enthusiasm made the visit even more interesting and dynamic. You can clearly see that he loves what he does, and he manages to transmit this passion to those who listen to it. He told us curiosities, fascinating details and little-known stories that made the ancient world alive and accessible, both for us and for children. We left Olympia enriched and inspired. Highly recommended!

Very good Italian-Greek guide who accompanied us on this wonderful historical tour. He was able to perfectly dose the times available and the stops for the strong surrounding heat. It managed to be interesting for both adults and 4 children (9-12 years) present... BRAVA!!!
