Experience the highlights of Western Norway on our special tour to Gudvangen, the Nærøyfjord and the Viking Village. This tour starts and ends in Bergen. You will visit Voss and Gudvangen, witness the majestic beauty of this region: lush valleys and magnificent fjords surrounded by sheer mountains. We travel to the Nærøyfjord – a part of UNESCO World Heritage site: West-Norwegian Fjord Landscape area. Our main destination is the Viking Village, where you can meet the real modern day Vikings and learn about their history and culture. Your own professional driver-guide is with you all the time and provides interesting commentary to the sights and general information about Norway. Duration is approx. 8.5 hours.
Car on this tour is one of our Mercedes minivans. When only 1-3 people are going on this tour, we may use our Tesla Model X. All of our cars have Norwegian Passenger Transport Licence.

What To Expect
Bergen
Our tour starts in the city of Bergen - the Gateway to the Fjords. The city was founded in 1070 and contains many historical and cultural landmarks. We will pass some of them on our way from the city and also on our return to Bergen.
Vossevangen
We pass through the town of Voss on our way to Gudvangen. The main historical attractions are Vangskyrkja - church from 1277, and the St.Olaf's cross from 1023.

5.00Vlad showed us a wonderful time! He knew so much about where we visited. So much info! And great stories. The scenery was just breath taking. And Vlad took us to some isolated spots that were special. He helped with photos and stopped or adjusted the car so we could get the right photo. He made sure we had a private guide for the visit to the Viking Village and later showed us video of our Viking guide, Karl, with scenes from a movie with Conan O'brien. He provided us with delicious snacks and drink. I have walking trouble and he was so considerate to make my day as easy as possible by pulling right up to entrances. Overall this tour was a highlight of our time in Norway. Vlad himself made it extra special. We highly recommend this tour with Vlad.

5.00If traveling in winter make sure you dress warm and wear waterproof shoes. Get ready to take amazing pictures! Our guide was Jana and I don't know how you could get a better guide. She was fun, thoughtful, and knowledgeable.
