What To Expect
Jeita Grotto
The Jeita Grotto, a system of two separate, but interconnected, karstic limestone caves which have formed over millions of years, is the longest cave complex in the Middle East. It is located 300 metres above sea level and has a height difference of 305 metres. The Jeita upper cave has an overall length of 2,130 metres and contains a great concentration of a variety of crystallized formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, columns, mushrooms, ponds, curtains and draperies. The lower gallery which has an overall length of 6,200 metres is located 60 metres below the upper gallery. It is traversed by a smooth underwater river and a lake.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon
The shrine of our Lady of Lebanon is one of the most important shrines in the world honoring the Virgin Mary and located in Harissa, a key Christian pilgrimage site in Lebanon. The shrine is highlighted by a huge, 15-ton bronze statue of the Immaculate Conception, Mother of God. It is 8.5 m high and has a diameter of five meters. The Virgin Mary stretches her hands towards Beirut overlooking the Bay of Jounieh in one of the most attractive panoramic views in the world.

4.00I went to Jeida grotto, Byblos and Bartroun with Hassan. He picked me up at 12.30 and we got back at 7pm, including an ice-cream stop at the best spot! At $160 it was expensive but saw part of Lebabon outside Beirut which i would not have been able to access on my own. I declined the option of a local guide at Byblos as there was only 1/2 hour until closing and that was fine as Hassan is very knowledgable. He helped me scramble down into the impressive ruined grave. I also enjoyed chatting with Hassan about the reality of living in Lebanon. The grotto was amazing!

5.00We are a couple from France who did the tour with Ahmad. This was our first one on our week’s trip. Ahmad was a considerate guide and it you want information he will give it to you or if you prefer to have a nap he will make you feel comfortable no matter what. Lebanon is a beautiful country and the people are even more amazing. We had a few stops and ate some local manaeesh. Everything was great. Because of this great day we booked another day . The guides are professional, on time and the driving was very safe.The price also is good value for money. We highly recommend this company.

Our guide, Hassane Mrad, was very punctual, anticipated every forthcoming need (e.g. cold water was appearing as if by magic on both rather hot days and long walking minimised, where possible). Very knowledgeable, friendly, yet very discreet and immensely caring! Not only he showed us the tour attractions, but also introduced to the various delicious local specialities along the way - he seemed to know everyone in Lebanon and radiated such a joie de vivre! We would definitely be back, as a couple of days in this magnificent country was simply not enough! David and Elena

5.00Dear Mr. Hussein! Thank you very much for your preparation and execution of my trips around the Libanon. All was OK. The hotel Casa d or: very nice staff, clean hotel, excellent breakfast. Your guides were always very helpful and on time. Local guides in Baalbek, Byblos, Tyr on a very very high level of knowledge. The lunch was the top on the tour to Baalbek, among 10 points it deserves 15 points. I did not expect the organization of this tour on such a high level. And at the end of the tour, the visit to the museum in Beirut was included in the trip. Because the most precious things found in the old places were all exposed in the Museum. If you do not visit the Museum, you do not see Libanon. Shukran jaziilan! Roman

5.00I toured Baalbek, Tyre and Byblos with Hassane. All three were exceptional with extremely knowledgeable guides, excellent meals and a very personable leader. I highly recommend this tour company - they were on time, not rushed and rather flexible.

5.00Definitely worth doing. The grotto was beautiful, Harissa was cool for the views, and Byblos was really cool from a historical perspective. Hassane was an amazing guide- very friendly and great energy. The van was nice and the lunch was really impressive.
