What To Expect
Free transportation from the 7 mile beach area and the cruise ship port. The boat is located in the newly renovated Cayman Islands Yacht Club where you'll depart from, once you arrive your captain will give you a safety briefing and you can decide what stops you want to do first. He'll have you sign a liability wavier and you'll be on your way out to the north sound (bay area) which is protected by the barrier reef where you'll do all your activities. On your way out your captain will tell you about the island and its history. At each stop you'll be briefed before entering the water to ensure everyone is comfortable and aware of their surroundings. Your stops will include: the infamous Stingray City, a must do for anyone visiting Grand Cayman and it is the ideal interaction for all ages. In our small and private group, you will have the opportunity of a lifetime to see our friendly stingrays. Coral Gardens, a great spot for the average snorkeler. The water is about 8-10 feet where you’ll have a memorable experience surrounded by many tropical fish, maybe catch a glimpse of a moray eel and even a Cayman lobster, who all flourish in the variety of colorful coral life! Starfish beach, a quiet and relaxing spot great for both kids and adults and is approx. 10 mins boat ride from Stingray City. This is one of the most requested tours offered. You’ll have the chance to walk on the shoreline and be captivated by the red and orange starfish which makes taking a photo extra special! Your boat will be a Chaparral 274 sunesta which can seat up 11 guests comfortably with its newly redone seats. Your boat will be equipped with snorkeling equipment and life vest for everyone, the boat also has a custom heavy duty ladder which makes in and out the water very easy, there is also a restroom on board as well as a cooler with ice, water and sodas. You are also welcome to bring along your own drinks or food.

5.00Jason our ships captain and Andrew were fantastic. They know just where to go and what to do, and when’s the best time to do it. Sting Ray city was amazing and within minutes Andrew was in the water with his girl”, a large female ray. The ray seemed to know him and all 13 of us got to handle it from age 68 down to 6, an unforgettable experience. We booked the Sea Ray 420, a fantastically maintained boat and clean as new. If we go back again I’ll be sure to hook the. . . Only a full day next time so the fun doesn’t stop. Thank you Island Splash and especially Jason and Andrew.

5.00It was a beautiful afternoon! Price, our captain, was very knowledgeable about how to navigate the crowds to get us the best spot. We had amazing experience at the stingrays city. Price had his own trained stingray which we even kissed for the “7 years of luck”. He definitely created the best show for us! Nothing like that before! The boat is just enough for little group and we had a smooth ride regardless of choppy waters.
