There is nothing quite like spending an afternoon at the "World's Museum" - the legendary British Museum. No trip to London is complete without it.
On this 3-hour tour, you'll explore thousands of years of human history, archaeology, and world culture - all without shying away from controversial topics.
You'll see all of the highlights of the British Museum without ever feeling rushed. Together, we'll examine Egyptian mummies, decipher the Rosetta Stone, gaze up at an Easter Island moai, debate the Parthenon Sculptures, and so much more.
Each tour is far from a 'cookie-cutter' experience where the guide follows a rigid script. Instead, I listen to your preferences and interests and craft an experience that speaks to you on a deeper level.
You'll leave with a whole new understanding of the complexities of heritage, history, and museums in general.
The British Museum is a special and complicated place. Let's explore it together.

We had a WONDERFUL tour with Jessica at The British Museum. She engaged with our whole group of 10 families members, including teenagers. Her descriptions and stories brought the artifacts to life and her context was interesting, relevant and well-balanced. We really appreciated having her guide us through the large museum.

Jessica the Museum Guide is outstanding! We would have been wandering around overwhelmed / lost if it wasn't for her. She was so knowledgeable about so much, putting everything in perspective and historical context, including the Museum itself! She was also personable and we really enjoyed learning from her! We will definitely seek her out again on our next trip to London. We actually tried to book her the next day for the Tower. ***** highly recommend!

This tour was the highlight of our trip! We learned so much from Jessica as she shared extensive knowledge of the museum's history and a thoughtfully-curated selection of artefacts. While waiting to catch a glimpse of main attractions such as the Rosetta Stone, Jessica showed us some lesser-known, blink-and-you-miss-it curiosities (including the Sphinx's beard and Fiji Mermaid) that were even more fascinating than the popular exhibits! She also provided thoughtful and well-researched explanations of the complexities of some of the museum's contentious holdings, like the Moai from Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Jessica's enthusiasm for history was infectious -- everyone in our group, ranging in age from 4 to 75, thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I can't recommended it highly enough! We'll definitely book another tour with Jessica on our next trip.
