A taste of Palmer - we'll head to a glacial valley in scenic Hatcher Pass for a mellow 4-mile, out-and-back hike on a flat, well-maintained trail. Along the way, learn about how glaciers carved the Mint Valley and what prospectors found while panning in the early 20th century. We'll stop at an old beaver damn for snacks and a water break before heading back to the trailhead. Following our valley walk, we'll stop at a local brewery (non-alcoholic options available). Learn about the brewers, discover what's crafted using locally harvested ingredients, and sip on a beverage.

There was a group of us who went and Kierre took very good care of our group. She made sure that we had a great time on our trip and even if conditions were not 100%, that there are backup plans in place so we'd get the most out of the day. This is Alaska during off-season: the weather turns so expect to be a bit flexible with your plans to make the most of the day. Consult with Kierre about what your group does or does not like to do, and the experience will all be tailor-made for you.
