Knowing such a valuable wasteland with Juanis and Aleja was a wonderful experience. Not only because the landscape is amazing, the history and natural value of the place leave great learnings. Instead, the attention to detail of the Zebra team is impeccable. They care about making every second of the tour an unforgettable experience! Thank you for introducing us to this great natural treasure in a unique and special way!

We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to spend a day exploring a serene and sacred spot in the Andes mountains, while learning about a precious ecosystem and pre-Colombian indigenous culture. Alejandra is an outstanding guide - friendly, informative, and clearly passionate about her work - and she partnered very well with Andres, our nature interpreter. Our day began with breakfast at La Calera, including the local variety of arepas and a hearty bowl of caldo de costilla. We then stopped at an enormous abandoned concrete factory, near a reputed ghost town. We climbed deeper into the mountains, and entered Chingaza National Park. After a video introducing us to the park, we hiked to the astonishing Lagunas de Buitrago, a site sacred to the indigenous Muisca people. Alejandra and Andres describe the flora and fauna of the rare high tropical ecosystem, páramo, in detail. We ate a delicious and filling lunch at a viewpoint above the lagoons, and then continued our hike to the shore, surrounded by towering frailejones (plants unique to this ecosystem). The elusive Andean bear also made a fleeting appearance, hurrying across our path. Our final stop was at Palacio, the site of an abandoned mine and the highest point (altitude) on our tour. The mountain views were astonishing, including a rare Colombian white-tailed deer. We very much appreciated Alejandra’s focus on conservation, sustainability, and support of local businesses. We would definitely tour with Zebra Fisgona again, and will recommend them to our friends who travel to Colombia.

On October 13, I went to the Chingaza Moor, a unique and beautiful place worth visiting, just 2h from Bogotá. The best thing was to do the walk with Zebra Fisgona Tours, from Aleja and Juanita, two visionary entrepreneurs, who with their excellent organization took care that we had a great experience, because when we took care of all the details we could be comfortable and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. In addition, the walk is very didactic, because we were taught everything about the moor, with the support of two environmental interpreters who accompanied us throughout the tour. We were made aware of the importance of taking care of the moors and implementing and spreading sustainable ecological practices, of which Zebra Snoop is an example! Well we were given a delicious meal, in environmentally friendly materials! I definitely recommend walking with Zebra Snoop Tours!

It is unbelievable that only at a two hour drive you can see an walk in a Paramo Ecosystem that it is almost unique in the world. It is an all day walk (9.1 km; roundish 6 mi) and you have to be prepared (boots, coat and waterproof clothes). Surely you will be sore the next day but the unique vegetation and the possibility to see fears and bears makes it totally worth it. La Zebra girls were amazing and the quality/price is really goods, will definitively repeat!!

We loved the tour! All logistics were perfect from start to finish. The guides are very careful to make you live a unique experience, in which one manages to disconnect from the city to enjoy nature and the history that hides the place. They are also concerned with teaching and conveying an ecological and social message. We had lunch in a magical place with a privileged view of a sacred lagoon of the Muiscas. The Zebra Snooper really offers differentiating tours.

A visit to Chingaza National Park is a stop that any foreign or local tourist has to make. And the visit is even more enchanting when accompanied by an expert, charming and dynamic team like the Zebra Snooper to help you discover a unique ecosystem rich in flora and fauna surrounded by a mystical air left by the Muisca legacy. Thank you so much for inviting me to this unforgettable paradise:)

When looking for a refreshing experience that allows a connection with nature, it is essential that the tour operator has the necessary trajectory and a very good attitude to make the tour to a sanctuary like Chingaza, a truly memorable experience. With the Zebra Snooper, I achieved this and much more! A highly professional, supremely empathetic and organized team, with passion and love for his work, made him enjoy a magical day and place from start to finish. Thank you Zebra Snoop for making me feel unique and special in such a dynamic and diverse travel group. Thank you for having such high quality instructors. Thank you for an unforgettable experience and full of details! Once again I check your quality and qualities! They had already accompanied me on my tour to La Candelaria, I will certainly remain a Zebra Fan and regular of their services.
