5.00Alfred was a fantastic tour guide. Lots of walking, lots of steps. He adjusted the itinerary in response to our interests and was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Hong Kong. We had a four hour tour booked, he spent five plus hours with us and even walked with us to a great local lunch spot before saying goodbye. He went above and beyond. He provided a wonderful introduction to a city we had not been to before.

5.00What a wonderful way for me and my 16-year old daughter to transition from our Thailand-Vietnam cruise to Hong Kong! Not able to officially check into hotel until 3pm, but able to drop off bags and then walk around to get familiar with the lay of the land with a helpful local guide. There was clear communication through WhatsApp prior to the tour detailing our itinerary and was very open to suggestions. Donald met us at 9am in the hotel lobby and took us on the MRT to explore all sorts of hidden gems…walked 22,000 steps over 8 hours that day!! He was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with - kindly accommodated our gluten and dairy restrictions - and directed us to clean restrooms as needed. The five flowers and 24 herb tea (bitter, but soothing) at the tea shop really helped perk us up after little sleep the night before. Went to the best roasted goose and pork place for lunch that had the most amazing complementary pork broth with pumpkin - no English in this hidden gem - so grateful to have shared this amazing meal with Donald!! We were already exhausted from the cruise, but Donald’s delightful company kept us going! 💗 He showed us actually interesting places (often where no English is spoken) and made all the hours of walking strangely manageable…the 8 hours flew by…wished we had him to guide us around a few MORE days…we both missed him VERY MUCH on the remaining 3 days in Hong Kong 🥹(especially after an evening tour with another tour guide and company with terrible social cues and different interests from ours).

5.00My friend and I just got back from a wonderful full day tour with Benny. He is a fantastic guide: knowledgeable, flexible, careful, and kind. We had planned the day with him in advance to meet our specific needs, but he was completely flexible when we wanted to make some last-minute changes. He gave us such a thorough understanding of the places we visited. We could not have gotten to as many sites or learned as much without him. And to top it off, we paid for eight hours, but he gave us nine. It was really a remarkably wonderful day!

5.00Karen was our tour guide, and the focus of the highlights tour was local orientation in Hong Kong. She did an excellent job helping us navigate trains and trolleys while introducing us to key areas we could easily return to on our own. We visited major local sites, including a shrine and a jailhouse museum, and walked through antique alleyways and food markets. A quick bathroom stop along the way was appreciated. A real bonus was Karen’s clear, step-by-step instructions for getting to the Peak Tram. The directions were spot-on and gave us the confidence to make the trip independently. One consideration for future participants is walking pace. Those who don’t live in walking-focused cities may find the pace faster than expected, reflecting the rhythm of a busy urban environment. This is worth noting on the request form when signing up. This was not a tour guide issue—simply an age-related consideration for us.
