Karen was our tour guide, and the focus of the highlights tour was local orientation in Hong Kong. She did an excellent job helping us navigate trains and trolleys while introducing us to key areas we could easily return to on our own. We visited major local sites, including a shrine and a jailhouse museum, and walked through antique alleyways and food markets. A quick bathroom stop along the way was appreciated. A real bonus was Karen’s clear, step-by-step instructions for getting to the Peak Tram. The directions were spot-on and gave us the confidence to make the trip independently. One consideration for future participants is walking pace. Those who don’t live in walking-focused cities may find the pace faster than expected, reflecting the rhythm of a busy urban environment. This is worth noting on the request form when signing up. This was not a tour guide issue—simply an age-related consideration for us.

Excellent tour with Benny. The questionnaire before the tour allowed the guide to cater the tour towards your interests. I had limited time in Hong Kong so it was the ideal tour for me.

Benny was my guide while I was Hong Kong. He was excellent and very knowledgeable about Hong Kong - I didn’t know very much. He took me to gorgeous sites and accompanied me to the tram where he helped explain how to get up and back from Victoria Peak. I was on limited time due to being a cruise ship passenger but had what felt like an all day personalized experience! Highly recommend!

Donald was honestly one of the best guides we’ve ever had. What made the experience truly special is how deep his knowledge is: he didn’t just show us the main sights, but explained every little detail, things we would have never noticed or even thought to ask about. He shared so much context about Hong Kong: history, culture, everyday life, and small local details that really made the city come alive. On top of that, Donald is a genuinely pleasant and easygoing person, which made spending the day with him even more enjoyable. You can tell he truly loves what he does and cares about giving people a meaningful experience. If you’re considering a guide in Hong Kong-Donald is 100% the one to book. Highly, highly recommended!

Had a great 3 hours walking tour with our guide Alex who brought us to see different places such as The Central, Statue of Sir Thomas Jackson, HSBC Bank, St John’s Cathedral etc. and its history. Every place we visited was truly insightful experience for us as we had a more in depth understanding of HK now. This is our second trip to HK and I’m so glad that we had a tour guide to bring us around this time and sharing with us some stories which will enrich our memories and experience of the places we have visited together. Thank you to Alex for being ever so patient with us when we have so many questions to ask about each place we visited and thank you for bringing us to sit the DingDing tram ride which was another unforgettable experience for us.

Excellent day and well worth every penny. Malin was lovely and she was very knowledgeable about Hong Kong in general and knew how best to get round the city at minimum cost which was fantastic. We walked around the city seeing much of the highlights at a good relaxed pace, stopped for lunch in a local spot which was great and food was delicious, local diner style. All round excellent day

Lydia was a joy! We booked a 4 hour walking tour with her and she met us at our hotel, and we explored the city by foot and the local MTR underground system. She really showed her pride and love for the city she grew up in, and she gave us lots of information, and took us to many great places that we would of missed without her guidance. We really crammed a lot in to the short time we had with here, but it flew by because we we saw so much, had a great time chatting with her. We came away with wanting to visit the Hong Kong again in the future. Thanks Lydia, we hope to see you again soon!
