What To Expect
You'll be transported from the airport or water taxi terminals or your hotel in Belize city in well maintained, clean and comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Vehicles are equipped with first-aid kits, emergency equipment and professionally trained and licensed driver/guides who are knowledgeable and friendly. This is a scenic 2-hour drive through the countryside passing through small towns and villages along the way, before we bring you to the beautiful twin towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena. We will drop you off at the hotel of your choice within 10km of San Ignacio & Santa Elena Town limits. Drop off at Hotels out of this area can be arranged at an extra cost. Restroom stops along the way are available. Let us know your flight arrival time and we will arrange for our driver to meet you at the International Airport’s arrival gate. We also pick up from the Water taxi terminals OR hotels in Belize city. Your driver will be holding a sign with your name so that you can easily recognize your transport.

5.00Terrific private transfer service. We were picked up at the Belize City ferry terminal next to baggage claim right on time, no need to hunt around for a pick up location. The drive was fine, and our driver related interesting tidbits about Belize. It wasn’t a non-stop narration, but just the right amount of discussion. We were dropped at our hotel, which is outside the San Ignacio city limits (some services don’t do this) and he waited with us until the desk clerk could make it back to the office. Excellent service and a hassle free ride. I highly recommend it.

5.00Our flight was an hour late for arrival ☹️Josh was waiting for us. We mentioned we were hungry and Josh suggested a place. We stopped at a great little road side restaurant for lunch. Josh was very pleasant and answered all our questions about this country. Josh is a very skilled driver. We’d love to to have Josh be our driver again.

5.00We had a rough flight from Orlando to Belize City, with floods affecting our flights in Miami, so we had last second flight changes that had me on edge regarding our pickup from BZE. Fortunately Terry at Cayo Inland made herself readily available well in advance, and was super easy to get in contact with, and very responsive. I was able to update her with our flight changes, and she made all the adjustments on her end. When we landed and made it through customs, our driver was outside with our name waiting for us. The car was clean, and Wayne, our driver was extremely informative and friendly. Wayne took us to his favorite spot for lunch in between Belize City and San Ignacio. If you need a transfer in Belize, Cayo Inland would be who I recommend.

The two hour trip flew by as we were introduced not just to the features of the landscape but to the nuance and complexity of the people and culture of the region. 5.00Germaine was our tour guide and gave us a good start to our trip. He picked us up right outside the airport, which is super small. Great experience and so glad we did this instead of renting a car. We stopped half way and had an amazing lunch at Amigos restaurant.
