The upper cave on foot — stalactites and stalagmites up to 8 metres tall, formed over millions of years into formations of extraordinary scale and beauty. The lower cave by silent electric boat — gliding along an underground river through chambers of absolute stillness. One of the most spectacular natural experiences in the Middle East — 30 minutes from Beirut.

5.00Such a lovely trip seeing the Jeita Grotto, Harissa and Byblos. The driver was exceptional and managed to get us there despite the protests. We spent a bit of time in traffic but that’s to be expected under the circumstances when there is political unrest. Very recommended company and driver.
