Come explore the history of the Jewish people in Argentina, from its colonial times to modernity. As we navigate the history, traditions and landmarks of South America’s largest community, we’ll explore the neighborhoods of Once, Tribunales and Retiro.
We’ll go beyond tradition as we explore how politics and the broad history of Argentina shaped the Argentine Jewish Identity.
This tour includes a private born-and-raised Argentine Jewish guide, bus fare during the tour and tickets to AMIA, Libertad Synagogue and the Jewish Museum.
IMPORTANT NOTE
This tour can only be booked up to 72hs before the start time, because we need to let AMIA know who's coming. You will be required to show your original passport on the day of the tour. This tour doesn't run on the 18th of each month or during community holidays.

5.00Mel met my wife and I at our hotel in Midtown, and, as it was a public holiday and we were unable to access any of the sites, supplemented the Jewish tour with a visit to the French quarter. She was delightful, knowledgeable, engaging and spoke excellent English. She gave us a comprehensive overview of Argentine history, both Jewish and in general, and shared her passion for the city and the country

5.00Julia was exceptional, pleasant, intelligent and helpful. She knew a lot, explained things well, and was a wealth of knowledge. My friend and I were very moved by our visit to all the sites and learning about the unique Jewish immigrants' contribution to Argentine life was fascinating.

5.00I`m an observant jew and having Lunfarda organized my trip was incredible. They organized kosher lunchboxes for me and my family, and even sent a bottle of Argentine Kosher Wine to our room for Shabat. The tours where amazing, the kids loved them, specially the one of La Boca. Fernando is a great guide, i cant recommend Lunfarda and Fernando enough. Thanks for making us have such a great time at Buenos Aires!!
